Our last trip was last May, and our next trip isn't until November 30th, 217 days away! I find myself constantly trying to get my Disney fix until we can get to our happy place again. Here are some of the things that I do to pass the time between visits. Share with me what you do at home to get your Disney fix!

Spend lots of time on the DisBoards

Watch The DIS unplugged daily updates and weekly podcasts

Listen to Disney parks music and Disney movie music at home and in the car.

Watch Disney movies

Watch the free DVD Disney sends for trip planning

Watch Disney World related videos on YouTube (yes, I even enjoy watching other people's Disney vacations and happy moments at Disney!

Wear Disney clothing, and jewelry

Constantly think about how I can come up with the cash to purchase more DVC Points!

Reminisce about past vacations.

So what do you do? I know I'm not the only one! Share with me how you get your Disney fix.

I started sending my fiance a Disney pic a day from one of our trips over the last five years. I have a Disney countdown block on my mantel that I update daily. I also read the Dis daily. We check out and update our itinerary, look at Disney menus and pics and listen to Disney music and watch movies. I also had a Disney night with my friends, we watched movies did Disney trivia and made these adorable Mickey cookies out of oreos!
I think my favorite thing though is the Dis pic of the day I started, I'm going to do it every day until our honeymoon in August! image.jpeg

We have hours and hours of home vids starting in 1999 to last Oct. Oddly the ones that put me 'in the moment' are those of us on Disney transportation, the whole family or whoever was there just chatting away. The trolley ride up Main St and the Friendship boat from DHS to the IG are our favorites.

I love the cookies! How did you make them? Melted colored chocolate?

So. Much. YouTube.

I've only recently discovered Randomland(Livefastdiepoor)/The Sometimes Vlog by Justin Scarred. I am currently working my way through his DLP playlist. He is incredibly detailed (if a little scattered sometimes) and very funny. I have actually burst out laughing several times during his videos. The one where he 'broke' AKL had me in tears!

Other favorite YouTubers:

Big Fat Panda
Eating My Ears
Oh Yeah Disney (who also make great customs Mickey ears and now t-shirts)
Sara Snitch
MrCheezyPop
Mousesteps
iThemepark (best Celebrate the Magic and Wishes videos)

I also follow Disneybound on Tumblr and Instagram (as well as Oh Yeah Disney and Justin Scarred/LiveFastDiePoor). Tumblr is a great source of gorgeous Disney blogs.

Only 16 more days!!!

Watch the free DVD Disney sends for trip planning

I LOVE the planning DVD and watch the heck out of it. My DH just rolls his eyes and tries to disappear when I suggest we watch it.

Listen to Disney parks music and Disney movie music at home and in the car.

I do this as well. I have a ton of the old albums, my favorite is the one from late 80's/early 90's with the original Journey Into Imagination. One of my previous jobs I worked a front desk and had complete control of the music choices that would flow through the PA system. I would always choose a Disney parks channel! My coworkers always teased me when the monorail dialogue would come on... sometimes customers were a bit confused about it as well. Good times!

We also like to go though our pins and scrapbook albums. Sometimes we will buy each other a pin and leave it in a surprise spot to find leading up to the trip. We also try to always have something in the works as far as a trip goes even if it's a year or so away - I just love planning!

Disney theme park music! Big time. Usually just have it on in the background on my headphones at work. That's what really gets me pumped. We love looking at old trip pictures too, and watching Disney movies (for some reason "Saving Mr. Banks" in particular). Also, going to the Disboards most every day as well.
