My Feet Are Killing Me and I Want a Lollipop 6/17-6/24 (Complete 7/24)

Loved the rest of your TR!

How wonderful to pass along some of that Disney magic to someone else with the meal credit! (And great Tshirt, btw!)

I so agree with you about Olivia's. It's becoming a favorite of ours as well. Every time we've gone, the service has been great and the food even better.

But I have to say - I WAY prefer the Grand Marnier slushies over the Grey Goose! ;)

Yes, it felt good to share.

We really loved Olivia's. Will definitely go back.

I need to try one, I guess. Next trip !!! The Parisian Comso slushies that you can get at the France kiosk at the Food and Wine festival are the absolute BOMB diggity. Looking forward to reading more of your TR !!

Thank you for writing an excellent TR, I enjoyed all your pictures and wonderful stories. And, congratulations on your DVC purchase, we soooo love ours!

Thanks for reading !! I am so glad you enjoyed it. We have some more trips planned, so I'll be back. This TR writing is fun stuff. And I love chatting with the dissers that read along and comment. DD and I are dragging out the scrapbook stuff this weekend. That should be good fun.

I am sad that your trip report is over, but I will read your dining review. You have been very helpful, and I know know that on the last day of our September trip, after spending the day at Blizzard Beach (my parents head home that morning so it will just be the three of us), the kids and I are going to Epcot so I can try the Parisian Cosmo Slushie! I was debating about hitting a park on our last night, but you have made up my mind for me. Thanks also for the location of the blue slushies in WS. I see blue tongues in our future. I know they will be a big hit for the kids. Frozen cokes and lemonade too.

Did you ever do the Kim Possible Missions in WS? I have read that they are fun and a good way to get kids involved in seeing the countries. We are going to try a few missions in September.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this report. It was fun chatting with you and I appreciate all the advice and humor. Congratulations again on the DVC purchase! :woohoo:

Well, I'm so sorry your report is over, I really enjoyed the entire thing with the great pictures and updates!!! :thumbsup2 It was so fun to learn about your DVC purchase, I'm so happy for you!:yay: I'm always torn about doing a trip report because I am a scrapbooker (and we only have so much free times as busy moms!!!), but I feel guilty not sharing when I enjoy other peoples TR's so much!

I hope your back gets better and I can't wait to read about your beginning experiences as DVC members - I can dream!!! Thanks for the great report!:worship:

Thanks for "taking us along" for your trip. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your escapades. Thanks!!

Yes !! I hope to see you over at the dining review. Get to Blizzard Beach EARLY if you can. But in September it won't be as crowded as it was in June.

You MUST try a Parisian Cosmo Slushie. Heaven in a plastic martini glass !!:rotfl:

We have done the Kim Possible missions and the kids really like them. Also, hit all of the Kidcot stations in each country. They give out cardboard Duffy bears for free and it is on a stick. Each Kidcot station is marked on the map with a red box and a white "K" in the middle. They have CM's at each stop representing their country. They stamp the stick and they sometimes write hello. And the kids can color the bear a little at each station. Also, you can get a passport for about $11. And those are really cool. It comes with stickers and the CM's sign and stamp them. I really liked those.

So glad you enjoyed the report. I really enjoyed writing it. Hope to chat with you soon !!

Thanks again for reading and stopping in to say hello. It was so nice getting to know you a little. I like to scrapbook, too. I really have just gotten into it. And I just love it. DD and I will clear the table, put in a Disney movie and cut and paste for hours. We just love it. Really, when you think about it, a TR is like a scrapbook on the computer. Some of the these people get really creative with their photos and it is really fun to see. I would so love to see a TR from you. PM the link if you decide to start one. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for reading along. It was fun and I am really sorry it is over, too. :sad2::sad1:

Can you imagine if the Grey Goose, Gran Marnier slushies were a snack credit?! I'd be the subject of one of those bad park guest behavoir posts for sure.

I have to agree..Spring Break was the worst crowds I've ever dealt with, and we were there a week or so ahead of you. I look forward to comparing that crowd to the Thanksgiving crowd though. :cool1:

Tell DD I look forward to sharing some crackcor...I mean popcorn with her in Oct. Until then.. peace out!

It would be the absolute bomb-diggity if they were a snack credit for sure. I wonder how many i could drink before I fall over ... or go broke. :lmao::rotfl:

Yep, Spring Break was the worst. But is was pretty crowded in June and we were fine, so I am not worried.

I'll tell DD about the popcorn. She just loves that popcorn !! popcorn::popcorn::

I just wanted to thank you for writing such a great trip report. Reading it has really increased my excitement level for DW's and my upcoming "Polynesian Invasion".

Thanks again,

Awwww ..... thanks soooo much. :lovestruc Most of all of the best tips, I learned through reading TR's. I really enjoyed writing this one and making a couple of new friends. I'll do another one for sure. Come join us over on the Dining Review. :) The link is in my signature.

All caught up again and as always great photos and an entertaining TR. :thumbsup2

So glad your DD enjoyed BBB - she looks lovely! :cutie: I know your DS will love PL next time, too - our DD had a blast there last year. pirate:

That was so nice you didn't have to pay the extra money for the pics since you prepaid for the CD. Do you know if it's that way for other places in WDW that do picture packages (Princess Character Breakfast, Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, etc.)?

Great update and thanks for the PP info. In January, we purchased the PP but we also paid for the Hoop-Dee-Doo photo package :sad2:! Like you said, live and learn.

I'm not sure about the Hoop-Dee-Doo photos, but a lot of the photos taken at character meals cannot be added to your PhotoPass account unless you buy the package at the location. Of course, some (if not all) of the Princess meals include the photo package anyway. ;)

If you buy any of these photos, look for the code on the side of the photo and add it to your PhotoPass account - this way you can edit them and add borders, etc if you like. :)

She just LOVED BBB !! And wants to do it again. I'm tempted to let her since she is growing up so fast !! One last round of BBB photos couldn't hurt !! DS might be too cool for pirates, we will have to see !!

Thank you so much for your trip report - it's been a great read!!!

I am so jealous of 320 points! We have 160 at SSR and added on 25 at BLT (only so we can book earlier out!). We hope to add on!

Awesome to hear about Raglan Rd - we have ressies our first night (8/18)... my DS is super picky, so happy to see a pic of the chicken and fries as he should eat that. My DD is adventurous, which is nice.

OKW looks so nice. The only DVC places we've stayed thus far are SSR (3 times) and Hilton Head (which we LOVE).

Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to say hello !!

I was seriously SHOCKED when DH said 320 points !! And get this. NOW he won't let me use any of them for our September trip. He wants to save them and bank them for next year. I was like WHAT ?? (we did use 180 for our Nov. trip which leaves us 140. And we get another 320 in FEB !!)

Anyway, our September stay is booked off site and has been for a while now. It is part of a free resort stay that we got for booking our Disney Cruise through our other time share which is RCI. So I am thinking it was free anyway, why don;t we just stay there part of the week and stay at a Disney resort the rest of the week - and get the dining plan. And it won't take very many points either. But he's not biting. I'll keep working on him though.

Tell me how you liked SSR. There are so many of the other DVC resorts that I want to try that SSR is kinda at the bottom of our list. I really liked it, but I want to try the other ones first. We LOVED OKW !! I highly recommend it !!

Tell me about Hilton Head ..... How far is it from the actual beach ?? We will be trying that out for sure !!

I got DH to agree to let me use some of our DVC points at the end of our September trip, so we can move from our RCI resort to a DVC resort at the end of the trip - YAY !!!!! Just waiting on DVC to let me know if anything is available !! Fingers crossed !!

I made my reservation request online. So DVC writes me back and says ..... NOTHING is available for that week. Seriously ??? On a week where the crowd calendar is 0.5 ??? I am so not buying it. Third time this has happened. Does anyone have this happen to them ?? Is this just their standard e-mail answer ?? I mean what is the point of having DVC if there isn't anything available, like EVER ??

Anyway, I asked ot be put on the wait list and I will CALL them tomorrow and see what shakes out.
