My family won't decide, so you pick our meal.

Our group of 9 consists of me, dh, ds - 11, ds - 8, dd - 4, SIL, BIL, FIL, and MIL. The only 2 days we will all be at WDW are Thanksgiving and the day after. The day after Thanksgiving we'd like to meet for a meal. I've tried to get input from family to no avail. Here are the possibilities:

Le Cellier for lunch at 1:30
Mama Melrose 5:50
50's Prime Time 7:55
Sci Fi 8:20 ( might keep this for dessert if we do LC or MM)

I'm also trying to decide whether or not to go to the Osborne Lights preview (assuming they have it) and head to SpectroMagic the night after Thanksgiving or skip the preview, go to SpectroMagic and wait to do Osborne Lights as a group. That would certainly impact the chosen restaurant.

I would do Le Cellier for lunch. We had dinner there and it was wonderful. After that, head to MK for Spectro. I have not seen the Osbourne lights but I have seen Spectro and that is something to be seen!!

Tom...

We ate a late lunch at Le Cellier in August and loved it so much we are going back in December before attending the Candlelight Processional.

Cheese Soup is great, breadsticks are delicious and the steaks are wonderful (and the lunch prices are significantly cheaper than the dinner prices)

Whatever you pick, have a wonderful trip!

Well, 1st eliminate Sci Fi. Then eliminate Mama Melrose. After that, decide if you want home cooking, or something a little more elaborate... if you want fun ribbing by "mom" or a waiter who is less obvious. After you answer those questions, you will have your choice.

I would pick Le Celliar or Mama Melroses because I think they are bigger restuarants for a large party size. I have never been in Sci Fi - are they all cars? Prime Time would be fun though. Will the family participate in the fun?

I would do either Prime Time or Le Cellier, depending on which time/menu suits better. We've eaten at both multiple times and had great meals each time. My third choice would be Mama Melrose. Although our meals there have always been good, it's been getting mixed reviews lately. We had a very mediocre meal at Sci Fi the one time we went, so I would not recommend it.

Another vote for LeCellier!

Anyone in your party have an AP? If so, M-F, there is a 10% discount on lunch at the EPCOT table service restaurants. The discount is valid for the passholder and up to 3 guests.

PS. I vote for Le Cellier!

I vote for Le Cellier. We eat there every trip. Once we had a party of 9 and they went out of their way to accomodate us.

I say Prime time Cafe....we had a party of 8 at PTC for dinner. The ages ranged from 61-4 and we all had a great time. The only advise is if the kids i nthe group are use to canned green beans they might want to order the corn instead. The Green beans were fresh and crisp/tender not cooked until mushy. My kids loved them but DNi wouldn't touch hers.

I would go to Le Cellier for lunch, then have appetizers and dessert at Sci-Fi and go to the Osborne Lights. I'm pretty sure they will be open the day after Thanksgiving - not a preview anymore... If you are real park commandos you could go back to EPCOT for a late stroll through the arch of lights which starts up that night. It is far and away my favorite thing at EPCOT that time of year.

Looks like the overwhelming vote is Le Cellier. I think that will work out the best. We'll head to the AP preview of the Osborne Lights the weekend prior then go to SpectroMagic the day after Thanksgiving. I think we should keep a PS at 50's PTC or Sci-Fi for them. I love SpectroMagic and rather go to that than Fantasmic or Illuminations anytime.

Of course, I'm assuming there's an AP preview. Guess I'll wait until I find out for sure about that before I make any changes. SO, if there's no preview, where would you eat at MGM?

Me, DisneyMom, DisneyDad, and DisneySisters will be eating at Chefs de France for CP night and are very excited! I personally have Mexico on my pedestal for dining experience, but France was a compromise that me and Disney parents could agree on. We will be celebrating early Christmas with the Mouse December 4-8.
PS-Get Onion Soup. I have never had it, but everone talks about it like it is a product of the Fountain Of Youth.

Sorry, Lilmagic, but Le Cellier is in Canada, not France. Hope this doesn't cause an upset in plans but which did you make a PS for?
