The night before our trip...I never thought it would get here, but it did. The kids are bathed and put to bed and they were out in 15 minutes. I didn't expect them to go to bed so quickly, but I'm glad they did. DH still has to pack--nothing like waiting until the last minute! But the kids and I are all taken care of.

My license has arrived--it was in the mail on Friday. Almost better than Mickey mail...almost! I am so thankful that I got everything taken care of with the van so we can RELAX and have a MAGICAL time! I'm not going to think about it for the whole entire week


Weeks and weeks of planning, borderline obsessive planning, too-many-to-count tweaks in my ADRs, and crazy giraffe race dreams set aside, I have had so much fun sharing my adventure with you all!


Thank you to everyone who has been following along, offering up support or advice and just chatting it up with everyone on here. Although I can wait to get back, once I do get back, I can't wait to start my TR!!


I really can't believe that we get to wake up and go to Disney tomorrow!!

And to everyone else who will be down there at the same time as us---SEE YOU AROUND THE WORLD!!

have a wonderful trip! laughling about DH packing last minute. I am starting tomorrow and we have 3 weeks to go. DH will be tring on clothes 2 nights before to see what fits

HAHA I'm totally lauging at this post now because.....he actually ended up not packing UNTIL THE MORNING WE LEFT. Can you believe it?!? Good thing I do all the planning for our trips b/c we'd have one terrible vacation if the planning was left to him! Ugh, men!

Hope your trip is amazing. If we happen to run into you on the 7th or the 8th, I'll say hello for sure!! (I still need to make my lime green mickey heads!)

Too bad we didn't run into each other. I kept my eyes peeled for LGMHs the whole time and didn't see any...until my DIS meet.

I know! I'm such a bad DISer! YIKES--has it really only been 10 days??? *sigh* it seems like it's been longer than that since we were there! Why does time seem to drag when you get back??

I didn't even get onto the DISboards until just the other day. Then I got so busy catching up on other people's PTRs and starting TRs for those brown-nosers who have already started theirs ...that I neglected my own! Opps. Gotta get on that I guess...

YOU'VE BEEN BACK FOR LIKE 2 DAYS--what do you mean you haven't started your trip report yet???

Well I actually have a good reason for not starting my TR yet. I was all set to start it a day or 2 after our return. I came up with a snazzy title while we were on our trip and I even began writting the first post in my head (I know, I know, I'm crazy...I mean who does that???).

So a few days after getting back we got the call---

THEY FOUND OUR VAN!! Can you believe it?? It's been 3 weeks. And get this--it was parked a 1/2 mile away from our house abandoned in a neighborhood. It was parked there the whole time according to the resident whose house it was parked in front of. And I think all my stuff is still in it! We get it back offically tomorrow, so I'll know more then. Had to wait for the cops to release it to us.

So I do promise that my TR complete with snazzy title will be up and running in the next couple of days!!

I am freaking out! I feel like I'm crunched for time - but I'll get it all done.


And MAJOR grats on getting your van back! I hope its in the same condition it was when it was stolen!! I'm very glad to hear that it was found! Hopefully all your belongings are still in tact. Have they figured out who stole it and/or caught the person(s)?

I am really curious now as to why they would steal it only to abandon it around the corner.

Now ... once you get settled ... I wanna hear all about your trip! You can't make me wait to hear about it until after I'm back.

It's also great news that they were able to find your van! It does seem very strange that it would be so close...and that all of your things may still be present and accounted for. It really makes you wonder why they took it in the first place
