My families August WDW & Clearwater Beach vacation is officially confirmed

During the last week of December 2006 my Dad had called CRO to book our WDW vacation & stay at the Contemporary Resort on the Atrium Club for this coming August. Today online he booked our stay at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites Resort On Sand Key (Clearwater Beach) & since we are driving down Interstate 75, we have already booked our Hampton Inn reservations so we won't end up staying at some dump of a Hotel. Going down we are staying at Hampton Inn locations in Cleveland Tennessee, Valdosta Georgia (Hampton Inn & Suites Valdosta/Conference Center, GA location). Going home we are staying at Hampton Inn locations in Dalton Georgia & Troy Ohio.

So now there is nothing left to do but to sit back, countdown the days until we leave.

Congrats! My parents and I just booked our own Aug 2007 trip, staying at the Polynesian, Garden View. We weren't expecting to go back in 2007 because we took multiple trips in 2006, but we got that 40% off postcard rate and couldn't resist.

We did this last year for our Nov/Dec trip, I booked the hotels on the way down as we were doing the bulk of our travel on the US Thanksgiving and I did not want to be stuck with two kids and dumpy hotel or no hotel at all. I think this is what we will do this year as well. TTFN Kat
