Just back last week from our glorious 2 week BCV/DCL/BLT vacation. Everything was absolutely FABULOUS!!

We had a 2 bedroom lock off facing the pool at BCV. It was out first visit there and loved the location and the BCV overall!!

I cannot say enough about the DCL cruise. We had 2 verrandah cabins on Deck 8 and everything was to perfection from cabins, to service to food, etc (in fact we booked a 7 night for October 2011 for just DH and myself; so far away!!).

We then went to BLT for the last portion of our vacation. We had a beautiful dedicated 2 bedroom on the 10th floor facing the pool and the lake. I would sit on the terrace and imagine I was still on the cruise as I looked at all the activities that were going on in Bay Lake!! This was our second stay at BLT. We stayed last Thanksgiving weekend in a studio with 3 adults. What a difference going from the small studio at BLT to a 2 bedroom with 3 bathrooms!!!!

I really enjoyed this vacation as we were not in commando mode most days (maybe a little more so pre cruise) and I actually sat by the pool and chilled and then would go to a park.

I was concerned that 2 weeks away was going to be too much but we all decided that we could have stayed longer!! I think that now all my WDW trips in May will be for atleast 2 weeks!!

This trip was my DS college graduation present. He is an absolute Disney nut (as well as myself). We have always travelled to WDW, just he and I, in May when he was just finished with his spring semester at college (DH and DD are not as nuts about disney as we are but I can see them slightly moving in that direction). I will miss our trips together in May once DS enters the work force but hopefully he will be able to join DD and myself at some point during our 2 week stay next May which is almost completely booked for SSR (which I also love).

The one thing that I do find is that I am really depressed after this vacation. Not sure if it is because I was at WDW for so long since the longest we have ever been there was on week (which in my opinion after this vacation is way too short). I really just want to be back at WDW so I keep lurking these boards and am now living vicariously thru other people's reports.

DS and I have a non DVC trip planned (ran out of points) at the Grand Floridian over Thanksgiving. Just hoping we can go. DS has not found a job yet so we will make a final decision by September 1.:scared1: The selfish part of me hopes that he doesn't find one and just works with a temp agency until then so we can go. Aren't I a terrible mother to wish that:rolleyes1

I definately see more points in my future and maybe at BCV :lovestruc so I just need DD to hurry up and graduate college (in 3 years) so I can do it!!

We just returned from 2 weeks at Disney also! We were nervous that we wouldn't want to stay the whole 2 weeks, and would be anxious to get back home. We thought we might be "disneyed-out" after that long. But - we loved every minute of the two weeks, and have decided that we are also going to stay for 2 weeks every May! We took our time at the parks and spent lots of time at our resorts - we are spoiled now to longer stays.

Wow...what a perfect vacation!

We booked our November 2010 DCL cruise in May of 2009, it's been hard watching the ticker move, but hey, we're not that far away now. Time will move along for you too! We had booked the May cruise in January 2008....long time to wait between DCL cruises, but worth it!

Good for you if you can get 2 week get aways! DH doesn't have that much vacation time, and I'm lucky that I sometimes manage to squeeze in 9 nights now instead of a week. That's what we have coming up...a gathering day at BWV, 4 nights at VB, then 4 nights at BCV.

The BWV 1 night was just for DH and I until DS found out that we were doing it. Since they were flying in from Boston, why couldn't they just join us for the extra night. :goodvibes ... well, they could, and it was early enough for me even to get the standard view 2 bedroom to save a few points.

Bobbi:goodvibes

My DH and I have stayed for 2 weeks before and it was perfect. It was actually a vacation. No need to rush. Ahhh.....
