My experience with last minute ressies

I decided to go to WDW in just a few more weeks, and I was very concerned about being able to get reservations at the last minute (well, a few weeks vs. the usual 6 months ahead seemed last minute to me). I just called for Sci-Fi with a couple weeks to go, and I was pleasantly surprised-there was a wide variety of times available for dinner. And this is on an evening EMH day. I also made reservations for lunch at LTT, again with a wide variety of times available during prime lunch time. So with only 13 days left to go, I'm going to try for 1900 Park Faire dinner, CP, Chef Mickey's, or LTT dinner, all character dinners. Any guess on my chances?

The dinners are going to be harder to get but you can always give it a try! No harm in checking... but try to be flexible as far as times go you might get lucky!
