My DVC Granddaughter!

Oh, I'm having my influences! Haha

My DGD8 had this to say last weekend. We were having my birthday lunch and since DD and I are planning a cruise in May05, we started talking it up to the kids.

Nicole starts talking about BCV and SAB and the Clown Pool and everything and she sighs this big sigh and bounces up and down in her chair.

"I just love talking about Disney" she says "it just make me feel so happy!"

Something in us just makes people happy when we share the joy we encounter by going to Disney. Even by planning trips, I can't mention my DVC without someone asking to come along with us. It's just infectious. You start talking about the wonderful, magical times you have and everyone wants to be a part of it. Unfortunately, they don't think they can find the magic on their own so they want to tag along with us (on my bill).

I bought 200 at BWV for my sons and I and I thought that would be plenty for us to enjoy 2 weeks every year in a studio. We purchased 3 1/2 years ago and have yet to go alone. I love sharing the magic and I agree with your granddaughter; I just love talking Disney too.

Tinkgrl - Looks like we will be boarding right after you disembark! We are sailing on the 19th. I didn't use DVC points for my portion of it though - it was cheaper with cash. We have never sailed before so we decided to do the 3 day cruise. We did the Cat 10 and got one of the SPRs on the 5th deck. I was happy because I wanted daylight!

stc1223 - I agree - people at work either "get it" or they don't. We have a large group of Disney people who all get tagged for advice (someone's taking me out to lunch on Monday for that very purpose) and we all try to infect them with our joy!! SOmeone who went a second time came to me and said "I get it now, I felt like I was returning home". Ahhhhh.

My DH can take or leave it - but he loves the golf and the rsorts - so has his own kind of magic. He loves the DVC luxury too! And I finally got him excited about a tour - we booked the new Segway tour for the four us on March 6th. Everytime we saw the Segways, my DH was fascinated and would say he would love to ride one. Pricey, but we got a 15% DVC discount.

Where did you find that information about the Segeway tour. (Now come the questions...) Where are they at? How long? You know just send the information and figure it out.
