My DU agent doesn't seem to think there'll be codes for October.

I'm really kind of bummed. I know she doesn't want to get my hopes up in case it doesn't happen, I just wish she could be as optimistic as I am. I mean, there we're codes last year for my time, even before 9/11...there have been codes for all the seasons since, I think.

There are other things too, that worry me....but please don't flame me, you folks are all I have to talk to about these things. And I'm not saying I'm angry, I'm just starting to worry.

Like for my itinerary, I put that I wanted to see Spectromagic on Saturday 11/2. She doesn't think there will be a Spectro and that MK will be closed in the evenings....she said she's going by last years hours. Well, according to the link I found on these boards http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/hours.html there was a Spectro on the first Saturday in November which was November 3rd last year...as a matter of fact there were two.

I asked her if she'd like me to call for CRT PS too, ya know, just so I'd have a better chance of getting it. She didn't say yes or no when she wrote back, she just said they'd do thier best to get it...and quickly reminded me that they'd need credit card information.

There have been other little things, but I won't go on. And like I said, these aren't big things, but enough to have me just a tad concerned. I just wish she could be a bit more positive and not so negative about everything.

I think your DU agent is just trying to not get your hopes up. It's anyone's guess on park hours or show times.

Call yourself for CRT ressies, as well as your agent. One of you might get it!Even though they are requesting a credit card for these they don't need your ressie number so you can call yourself. If by chance you end up with two, just cancel one.

Jennymouse, hang in there. I'll keep my fingers crossed that some sort of discount code becomes available for your trip. Regarding your Dreams agent, he/she is just being realistic, which I find refreshing. Of course he/she will work his/her hardest to get all your reservations set for you, don't worry about that. I have used Dreams before and they were wonderful. Try to relax and keep planning. Your vacation should be magical. Please keep us posted.

Also depending on where your checking for last years hours / shows, we were there in sept & dec, and they altered the hours almost up to the day before and cancelled and added parades / fireworks too. So you & your DU agent might be looking at different places for the hours & activities, that were real vs. planned? Is this too confusing? Keep your chin up, continue to check yourself, so you have peace of mind everything is being done you want, and keep the magic! MKY

Don't get discouraged. I agree that your agent is probably trying not to get your hopes up. This is my second trip booked with DU and everything seems to come together and work very well.

Even with a travel agent you are still in charge of your trip. Goodness knows I've made quite a few changes! There are still a quite a few changes I need to make for our August trip.
