My Disneyland dining reviews, with pictures

I'm so happy it's called a fluffernutter, because I used to eat fluffernutter sandwiches as a kid but when I bring them up nobody knows what the heck I'm talking about. Looks like somebody at Disney knows what they are!

Was it good? Sometimes the fancy churros look too sweet.
The Fluffernutter churro was (in my opinion) extremely good. I am usually disappointment by specialty churros (and a lot of Disney treats honestly! Too sweet and lack or real flavor) but this one was fantastic. It’s not new, but I’ve not had it before—a mistake I won’t make again!

Tried two seasonal specialty churros recently and loved the both! First, the Celestial Chocolate Churro from Terran Treats, which is a Dubai-chocolate inspired churro with pistachio cream, chocolate sauce, crispy phyllo dough crumbles and crushed pistachio. Strong pistachio flavor and lots of different textures. I loved it! Large portion, big enough to share.

I also had the Fluffernutter Churro from the churro cart near the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, which has peanut butter sauce, marshmallow sauce and chocolate chips. This was insane, sooooo good! The churro is hot so the chocolate chips melt and you have a crunchy hot churro with this gooey peanut butter/marshmallow/chocolate concoction that you can keep dipping your churro into. Also large, big enough to share.

Was everything as good as it looks?
The Thai dish ($35?) was good but I thought the sauce needed coconut milk. I don't know if this makes sense, but it tasted like Thai red curry paste. It didn't have the richness that coconut milk adds to a Thai curry. I didn't eat the chicken ($29). The person who ate it said it was good but that the turnip puree added an unusual flavor.

The Cafe Orleans short rib ($32) was very tender and good tasting. It was a large portion. The shrimp pasta was okay tasting but not worth $31.

Re: deep-fried oreos errr, fried creme-filled cookies, do you know if only having two (instead of three) was a mistake? Or did you ask them about it and they said it only comes with two? Seems like false advertisement if the menu states three but they're intentionally only putting two...

I'm an Oreo fanatic so had it the first day it was offered and then brought my family back to try it the following week. Both times we only received two. All off the food reviews comment that the cookies are good tasting but expensive for just two. It wasn't until I put the picture up last night and grabbed the description off of the Disneyland website that I saw three cookies mentioned.

There was a decent amount of debate on social media about the Foodie Guide picture. Some think it shows three cookies. Others think it shows one, and another cookie cut in half.
