My Disneyland dining reviews, with pictures

We take horrible pictures but we split a Pineapple Upside Down Sundae from Tropical Hideaway. It was delicious!

Continuing with the sweet tooth theme, we had our first ever “milk” from SWGE. We definitely weren’t missing out on much!

I’ve been wanting to try the Reactor Melt for awhile and finally got it the other day. It looked and sounded as if it’d be oh-so-good but it was just… bland and not very flavorful. Everything at PYM is priced a bit higher, especially for the ingredients, so you’re paying for the experience.

We had the fried cheese from SWGE as a snack. Maybe too much cheese for one day, but it was really good!

It was very good. Everyone in our group liked it. There was quite a bit of meat. The mushrooms, onions, and sauce had very good flavor.

On the other hand, the chicken pot pie baked potato had maybe three very small pieces of chicken.
Thanks it looks good!

I did this last year, as well. It was more expensive this year. This year, it came with alcohol, a really nice box and a pin. I believe it was $20 more this year and it was worth the price difference.

I had the standard fare. My husband had an allergy plate (no gluten and no corn). I was contacted by email regarding his dietary restrictions about a week ahead of time. They knocked it out of the park. It was great.
We each got a small water bottle. I had 2 of the cocktails. My husband had the mocktail and a cold brew coffee. They also offered beer, wine and sodas.

Would you mind posting a picture of the pin you got? I am tempted to book the Oogie Boogie package and would like to get an idea of the artwork style they might use.

There are 3 different versions of the pin and it's random whichever you will receive. We both got the same one.

any idea what their pickle sauce is? I love deep fried pickles but they always come with plain ranch around here. DL was the first place I got them and I remember loving the dipping sauce (this was 10 years ago) but worth a try lol.

Unfortunately, I don't. It was pink. Maybe chipotle??

Warning about this caramel apple.

The word "colored" should be in bold. It is not milk and dark chocolate. It is "chocolatey coating" that is dyed to look like milk & dark chocolate. After eating it, your stool will be bright blue for two days! :scared1:
