I've never posted on this site, but I have been a lurker for well over a year now. I just came back from my 9th Disney vacation in the last 15 years. Needless to say I go alot. I even married my wife at the wedding pavilion in Oct of 99. We loved Disney. So with that said it is with a heavy heart I have to say this will be our last time going to Disney.
I'm not here to troll. I really want to inform Disney of my week from hell, but I don't want it to fall on "deaf ears". I initially talked to the front desk, but since it wasn't a resort problem they suggested I email Disney....I fell less then confident that will resolve anything.
Does anyone know the best way to contact Disney concering complaints?? If you do, Does Disney actually respond, and do they take action to make things right??? For the first time ever I feel cheated, insulted, and to top it off my kids were actually glad to be home.
Thank You

I have been where you are. I tried the front desk at the resort and got no where. When I got home from my horrible experience I wrote an old fashioned letter and cc'd it to several disney managers. I sent one to the complaints address. Then since my issues were with the Caribbean Beach r
Resort: one letter to the head manager of that resort and one letter to the the head the head manager of all the resorts. I googled until I got the names and proper addresses of all the people I wanted to inform. I also called Disney and asked for the names and addresses. I mailed each letter certified.

A Month went by then one day I got a call from a disney customer service rep. We talked for 30 minutes or so and she ended up refunding half of my resort charge and apologized for the treatment we receoved and the problems we had.

So they did listen? Did they change any of their policies? I do not know. I will never go to the CBR again. I have been back to AKL and POFQ and had a wonderful time. I am also goin again in 32 days to POFQ

Good luck.

hope this helps

I would like to say :welcome: to the DIS. I hope you get some satisfaction with your situation. Hopefully the info from LEO711 will help.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I had a bad time with a resort earlier this year. I went to the supervisor the morning of our checkout just about in tears.
Disney can't pass off bad service to us veteran visitors that know how it should be and expect it to be done right. That's why we keep coming back.

I am going to WDW for the first time and we are booked at CBR, I am just curious as to what your bad experience was there. I would like to be prepared.....
Thanks

Leo711 I just came back from the CBR last night, what were your experiences there? I'm curious as to if things have changed. We had some issues with the CBR too. My main issues were more with the parks, the horrible staff, and the slop they now pass off with the dining plan. Not to mention half the Magic Kingdom is boarded up.
Iggler the CBR is okay, the one thing I found funny is the CBR's beaches are for show....You can't swim there. The castaway cay is closed for construction.

wow..for someone who goes to disney so much I am very curious what happened on your trip. It must have been really bad because NEVER again is a very strong statement. Sorry for you.:sad2:

All beaches at WDW are for show. Too many gators and amoebas in the water.

Well I didn't really want to post too many negatives, but heres just one of my issues: My family and I were going to go on Splash Mountain, when it was our turn I stopped for a moment. I noticed a very large lady get off our the log/car we were told to get into. She started talking to the ride attendant, and he again motioned for us to sit down. Something just didn't seem right, but we did as we were told. We sat down and the ride started. It was then that my wife and son realized they were sitting in urine. Apparently the large woman soiled herself and left a large puddle for my wife and son to soak in. There was no way to get off as the ride already started.
Whats worse is after we got off the ride one of her family members approached us and apologized. They told us she had a problem and she told the ride operator, and he sat us on the ride anyhow. I don't know if it was the large crowds or what, but in my mind that totally unacceptable. So my day was partially ruined as we had to take the time to go back the the CBR shower and change, then head back. I have a few other "issues" like that. I am crafting a letter now....hopefully I get some sort of response

if you google ..you should get his email address and maybe his personal email address. check with the good people at all ears. i would bet the lady that heads that up could get you a better contact address and tele #.

good luck .... hope this helps.

I have an issue with the photobook I just bought and basically my answer from them was full refund or nothing. I don't want a refund I just wanted them to fix it as one page the pictures aren't the way I had them and cuts out the characters. Plus they said they'd reply in 2 days and replied a week later. I'm not really impressed with that tbh

Wow!! That is beyond gross and inconsiderate . I think there are a few people to blame here. Although I feel bad for the woman with the incontinence, maybe she should have been wearing something so she didn't leave puddles of urine around? It was very nice of the family to apologize though. There is no excuse for the ride operator. Regardless of the capacity of the park, you do not have a guest sit in another person's urine. I think I would have stopped in Guest Services on my way out of the park. Our trip in May was one calamity after another. So, I booked a trip as soon as I got home. SOrt of a do-over! You said you have been frequently but this is your first bad experience??? Give it another chance. Just curious, what food establishements did you have issues with? So sorry, your vacation was not what you expected.

That is just horrible. Someone posted this as Robert Iger's email address, no idea if it works but here you go:

robert.a.iger@disney.com
Mailing address: Walt Disney Company, 5005 Buena Vista Street, Burbank, California 91521-0001

That is just about the worst thing I have ever heard. I would be very angry as well. I hope you got the name of the ride operator and complained. I would expect ALOT to compensate for this disgusting behaviour. I would not let it go. I would call, email and and call and email and call..you get the idea until I got some satisfaction.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.
