Does anyone out there know if the "My Disney Girl" outfits fit on "American Girl" dolls? It would seem that The Mouse would latch onto that craze. I ask because it would be the perfect souvenir to bring back for my little half-sister.

Yes! They do! Our last trip we picked up a Jasmine costume for dd's American Girl Today doll, Lindsey. It was really cute, especially since we still has a Jasmine costume for her. They were fairly reasonable too.

:thumbsup2 Yep, I'll 2nd that. My daughters just bought doll outfits at WDW this weekend. They fit their AG dolls perfectly :)

How much do the outfits run? and are they easy to find? I was disappointed when I looked at Disney shopping that you can't buy them on-line! :confused3

Whoa - I need to know about this! My daughter loves her AG doll. Are you saying there are character outfits that will fit the dolls? Where do I find them?? I'm going down in 2 weeks without the kids and would love to get her one for her birthday!!

I found a brand new in box My Disney Girl Sleeping Beauty costume at a thrift store for only $4! We put it on my daughters American Girl doll this weekend and she travelled with us all around Disney World. :-)

You need to look around. For instance, at different stores at DTD, we found different outfits in different stores. Some were on sale for $9.99. The prices varied. You really have to look around each corner. We found one way in the back of one stores. I only hope that they have changed them come June.

I found this site looking for costumes for my dd. We are going to the princess tea. And I thought if I did order from this site, I'd probably get a couple of the doll dresses as well. I was planning on getting a costume for her at disney. But it looks like I could probably order her Aurora and Snow white and the doll Snow White for not much more than one dress at disney...now I just wonder how well they are made.

ETA: forgot to put the link lol. http://search.store.yahoo.com/cgi-b...ars&vwcatalog=babyscholars&query=doll costume

The outfits are $25 and they fit AG dolls perfectly (even the shoes). The princess outfits come with the dress, crown, shoes and wand (not bad compared to the price of AG doll clothes). And there is a Minnie outfit that comes with ears too. They have Cinderella, Belle, Tinkerbell, Aurora, Jasmine, and Minnie. And my one daughter (who loves Jessie) has a doll-size Jessie outfit too, but I think that was a one-time thing from the Disney Store. Most of the resort shops carry the dolls and outfits but the larger stores like Main Street Emporium have the best selection.

I also just got the "My Disney Girl" dolls for 14.99 when they were on that great sale a few weeks ago, I found this website for clothes http://www.dollfactorydirect.com/
they have an introductory special for 6.00 for 3 outfits and accessories!

I ordered but have not received them yet. I am most interested in the shoes. It stated that they do not fit the AG dolls but someone told me they do fit MDG. I'll post when I get them to let you know how they fit.

I also bought a pattern to make the princess dresses from ebay. There were several people selling them. We looked at the patterns and it looks just like the child dress up pattern, same pieces just doll size. there are also alot of the costumes listed on ebay but they look like they are going for 35.00 or so. I'm glad to hear they are less in the park.

Can you tell me how you got to the introductory price? I'm looking at the site and the outfits are listing at $29.95.

The outfits may fit the new AG dolls, but they don't fit the original ones. The original ones are more plump around the middle. When Mattel bought Pleasant Company, I guess the dolls were put on a diet, LOL!

Okay my computer kept locking up on the doll factory link. But i typed it in on a new window and got there but i didnt look around much. I didnt see princess dresses...are they there or was this just a great place to get other clothes? I am going to show my dd the site after we get back with her new AURORA doll and let her pick a couple if that introductory deal is still going on. The site I listed before http://search.store.yahoo.com/cgi-b...ars&vwcatalog=babyscholars&query=doll costume has the princess dresses for the dolls made just like the ones for the girls 14.99 for dolls 24.99 for girls. I'm so Itching to do an order from them but alas I was going to use my disney card money for this purchase and dont know if I can pay otherwise for them at the moment. It also says that they were designed for AG dolls or other 18" dolls.

My parents were at the Character Premier store in the Premium Outlets, near WDW, two weeks ago, and got my dd an outfit for her AG. It's a pink jumpsuit that says Princess across the top and the butt of the pants, a shirt underneath, socks, shoes, a pocketbook, mini autograph book, clips for the dolls hair, and a set of pink mickey ears for the doll, exactly like the ones you buy in the parks. It is adorable. It's made for the My disney girl but fits AG perfectly, and the best part it was $6.99!!!!

I know the Once Upon a Time Toy Store in DTD carries. The room all the way in the back has the outfits. I believe they are between 20 and 25 dollars. As previously mentioned, you would probably be better served shopping for them online.

Thanks for all the information! Those outfits are so cute! I can't wait to find one for my daughter's doll.

the doll factory does not have princess dresses, I was more interested in the shoes since my mom is making the dresses from the patterns I got. But for 6.00 for the set of 3 fashions I had to get them! I still have not received the package but they were closed for inventory and said they would not ship until this week.

I am looking for a mouse ears hat for my doll that I got from Diseny Online, it does not come with the same outfit as the one from the park.

Do they sell clothes in the park that have the ears?

I just called the Character Premier warehouse in Orlando 407 477 0222 and they still have the pink princess jumpsuits with the Mickey ears. I ordered mine over the phone and she is sending them to me! 6.99 each x 3 + 8.95 for shipping. still a deal in my book.

she also said that they get princess outfits in occasionally so I can call back to check. She said the outfits do fit AG dolls.

ASLO... HERE IS THE GREAT NEWS!!!! they have the dolls for 12.99!!!! they are the brown hair w/ green eyes and come with the same outfit/ears that they sell seperately.

Run call now! :bounce: she actually said they had a bunch of them but now that I posted it, I'll bet they sell fast.
