My Disney Experience

I'm in the process of booking my Disney hotel stay for September and I can get the hotel sooo much cheaper from a different website rather than through Disneys' own. Similarly I also plan to buy my tickets through an agent rather than Disney and I want a Disney/Universal combo.

Can anyone tell me if this means I can't link my stay into My Disney Experience and things because that would make it so much easier for getting fastpasses and the like.

I booked all of mine through AAA and I was still able to use MDE. They fowarded me the confirmation from Dinsey and it was that number that I used to link my reservation to my MDE account. I would say if they COULDNT give you that information then i would think the party you are purchasing/booking through might be a little shady.

I'm going through a company I've used several times before for the hotel so I'm sure that will be fine.

Going to do lots of research before purchasing my park tickets though just in case

I live in the U.k and have also booked a Disney trip for September using an alternative travel company...Disney have a free phone number I came across to book a Magical Express airport pick up and via that received a number which I've linked the hotel and park ticket to the My Disney Experience phone App..September just seems so far away now I've booked it.

My last trip in April I booked my room through Cheaptickets (Orbitz) and was very easily able to link it to MDE. I was an AP holder at that time, but for my upcoming trip I am purchasing my tickets through Undercover Tourist and have read that they are just as easy to link in MDE.
