Greetings,
Just a quick review... We are long time Disneyland visitors who are planning our first trip to WDW in about 15 years. Our entire family is extremely comfortable with technology. I appreciate all of the help from folks on this board.
Anyway, as you all probably know, WDW seems to be more reliant on the web and the MDE app than Disneyland (except for recent MaxPass introduction). When we go to Disneyland, we put important times into the family iCal calendar, such as Dining Reservations, and maybe one of a kind shows. The iCal is great because it distributes the event into everyone's calendar, it can generate a location based notification and it doesn't rely on data inside the park to work.
I see that the WDW MDE has a "Show in my Plans" button to let you build a calendar online. I know that this is not a reservation, but just a "reminder".
What do folks on this board think of this functionality? Is it useful in some way I am missing? Or do you just keep track of things in your own calendar?
Thanks.
