My Disney Experience - Family & Friends

We are a family of 6 split into 2 reservations, one in my name and one in my oldest son's name (told we had to do this because he does not live with us). I have listed everyone in the group under Family & Friends, I can see both reservations, all tickets, all dining reservations, and have customized everyone's Magic Bands. Right now all the kids are showing as "managed by me" as they do not have their own accounts on the WDW website.

This morning I added Memory Maker and it looked to me as though in order for me to view everyone's pictures that they would need to set up an account and grant permission. I did set up an account for my husband, just to see what would happen, and it is causing me to question whether or not I want the others to do this. I will be in charge of making our FastPass+ reservations and really don't want anyone messing with anything.

Is it necessary for those on my Friends & Family list to have their own accounts and what are the pros & cons? If they don't will I still have access to all photos even if I am not with them at the time they are taken? Also, if we were to split up for a day, would it be better for them to have accounts so they can book their own FastPass+ reservations or is that a recipe for trouble with the FastPass+ system?

I appreciate any advice - would just like everything to run smoothly!

As far as I know, they just need to be on your Friends and Family list. I think that if they have their own MDE account that they would have to grant permission, but I'm positive that they don't need to have an MDE account in order to use your MM.

That makes sense - thank you. Anyone with experience touring with a group and whether or not it's a good idea for others in the group to have and MDE account in regard to FastPass+?
