My Disney Diet up in smoke! .....Updated with Ohana!

Hi! Love your reviews so far:banana: Ohana breakfast on our last day is sort of our tradition. I have to have a picture with the Mouse himself:thumbsup2

Thanks for joining in! When we left off we were just heading to the Magic Kingdom for some fun! We hit some rides and then it was off to lunch at the Crystal Palace.

Piper was happy to find her favorite food in the kiddie section....mac and cheese. She added a bunch of big, juicy strawberries and a chocolate chip cookie and was good to go!

Zoe went for turkey, a roll, a chicken nugget, carrots, grapes, and a chocolate chip cookie.

Here are a pictures of my 2 plates which were a bunch of items from the salad bar. It was reallllly good and in my mind would balance out what I would be eating later. I "might" be saving a "tiny" bit of room for candy at tonight's MNSSHP. :rolleyes1

The usual characters came around - Pooh, Eoyere, Tigger, and Piglet.

The very best part of our lunch at Crystal Palace was our waitress Gwendolyn....she was awesome and we found out (by her nametag) that she was from our hometown! We talked about home with her, it was fun! She was a trip, so I snapped a pic of her and my bil Rob.

Crystal Palace was great as usual. We really enjoyed our lunch. But don't worry, we aren't done eating for the day  Up next quick service during MNSSHP.

Lunch for 2 children and 2 adults was 70.25 and we had 116 deluxe dining plan credits remaining!

We had Gwendolyn a couple years back! She is a riot, we were just talking about her the other day, saying we hope in September we get her again!:goodvibes

I can't figure out why the wings at Kona were not included as long as it was shared by2? We had them on DDP:confused3
Love your report...especially all pics of the kid meals!

Loving your reviews! We have an ADR at Ohana's for breakfast in August. Can't wait to try it! Love all your pictures!

Good question! :confused3 Our waitress was really slow and seemed to be totally thrown off by the dxdp, maybe she was new and after 2 hrs I was just happy to get out of there and out to the pool! lol

Glad you like the report! :goodvibes

Your title kills me. I feel the same way for my upcoming trip. I dunno if enough walking will be done to burn off all the food consumed.

Looking forward to getting caught up on the review.

LOL! I spend months walking on a treadmill to get ready to go, then consume all the food you see here, go figure! :rotfl: Actually though the walking definitely helps!

are great reviews of O'Hana. I love the breakfast there and am trying dinner in a few weeks. The pictures are :thumbsup2 Thanks!!

Enjoy your upcoming dinner there, I'm jealous! I can't wait until August when we go again!

We will be there next month and I can't wait to try a glowtini :cool1:

Ooooooohh, have one for me! I am sooooo getting that again next time we go, it was so good!

I have a question regarding Ohana.

All those people at that table and you get that bitty bowl of fruit?

what about the breakfast skillets-- how was that sharing?

We have 7 of us and after seeing your photos I am wondering if it will be a war-- will one section of the table be finished eating before the other half is even served?

Thanks for posting the picture of the receipt, since I've never used a DP before (but will be using DxDDP in December!), it's nice to get a "heads-up".

Besides pretending that it's mine and I'm there already . . .:cloud9:

Actually there were several of each thing at the table.....we can definitely eat and there was tons of food. Plus they bring you more of anything you would like. Don't worry, you will love it! Everyone was definitely served at the same time! :thumbsup2

lol that's what I do on a daily basis, pretend I'm there already! Glad the receipts help, it was SO much easier than writing the prices down!

I am loving your review! I have one kiddo who is SO finicky...your tip about Ohana's having kids food (chicken nuggets) by request is something I've never heard before! We will definitely give Ohana's a try on our next trip.

This is so much better than trying to look at menus and guess what the actual food will be like!
