I found a disign I liked, but it's a bit fuzzy when I print it off...even when I put the printer to "best" setting! How do I get a professional looking picture to print (on transferpaper) off of the computer? I'm down to the wire here!!! HELP!!!! :headache:

tagging here too as I just printed off my first onto dark transfer paper and it looks like I poured water all over the images! I had been having no issues with the light transfer papers.

This is purely a guess on my part - but could you have saved the thumbnail of the design. You cannot enlarge a design without it becoming blurry or pixelated. Be sure that you have saved the full size version. For example, if you saved in Photobucket, keep clicking on the image until it reaches the full size version. You can easily 'shrink' a design but enlarging will only make it blurry. I hope somehow this helps!

I have no idea what may be going with yours. Are you sure you are printing on the correct side of the transfer paper. The only thing I can think of is that. I have only used light transfers once, so I am certainly not an expert.

Yeah the wrong side has lines on it. I'm wondering if it's just my printer. I printed the same images on regular paper and they came out just fine. There must be something that my printer doesn't like with this paper. I've got a new printer from Dell but I've been too lazy to set it up. This problem just might be the kick in the butt to get it setup!

Could it be that you are using too much ink? If you are printing in best - maybe you could try printing in "normal" instead? This is purely a guess - just kinda brainstorming outloud.

We had a similar problem when we used the Hanes OOps proof dark transfers that we bought at Hobby Lobby. The ink kind of pooled on the paper. We were using the right side of the transfer sheet, and we cut back on ink several times. We almost gave up until we talked to a friend who recommended that we try the Avery transfer sheets. That made all the difference in the world. I know that Amy has transfers that she prefers as well, but if you're under time constraints, I would head to Office Depot or Staples and find Avery Transfers - Light or Dark - as soon as we changed it worked like a charm. HTH. :goodvibes

I used the exact size (large) but it's still a little blurry and the text that I added looks like it has steps on the side of it instead of smooth. I asked a tshirt store yesterday and they said it would come out a little clearer on the shirt. I'm goin to try a trial shirt later today...wish me luck!:confused3
