My SO had parts of my dishwasher in 2 rooms last night.
I hope he can remember what goes where.
I hope the part he thinks is bad is the one that is actually bad (he kinda punctured it after he thought it was the bad part
). I miss my dishwasher. Now I'll have dishpan hands.
! DH just fixed mine! Seems a plastic fork got caught up in the motor part. I had to get water out with a cup, then he removed the thingie, retrieved the fork piece and all kinds of gunk in there! THEN his man hands were too big to wrench the thingie back on so I had to do it ! Never did that before! After hand washing one batch this morning, the dishwasher is doing the rest
! Hope yours recovers soon and SO knows what he is doing!
I hope we're not too contagious. I hope he doesn't need to know anything else from me or that thing will never be the same again.
Me too! My hands are dry enough without having to wash dishes ! It just finished washing and sounded good! My DH does not have a good record with fixing things. Maybe it was my touch that did it! 
! Good luck! I'm sure I'll find duck tape on my washer somewhere or another.
