Our family of 4: DH, DD's 3 & 6 and myself week of May 16 through May 22. We were on the MYW Dining Plan.

Most of our CS meals were at Riverside Mill Port Orleans Food Court: We had during our stay: Taco Salad with Beef, Nacho Supreme, Double Cheeseburger & fries, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, Cheese pizza, Chicken Parmesan Sub, Macaroni & Cheese, Crispy Rice Treat Bars, Brownies, cookies, sundaes, ice cream, Cinnamon bun, Mickey Waffles with strawberries and bacon & sausage. Overall the food was pretty good, however the service to order your food is a little slow. Overall rating: B due to slower service

Remaining meals:
5/16: Crystal Palace Dinner - We had a 4:40 seating which somehow showed up at Coral Reef instead - no one in my family even likes seafood, so that was funny. Anyhow, they were able to take us anyway, it was a rainy day, so that probably helped. Our waiter was great and the character interaction was super. The food was blah - the best items were from the kids section and the mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables were pretty good. The desserts were good as well. Overall rating B- I think if I go here again I will have breakfast.
5/17: Le Cellier - FABULOUS! I am so glad we tried this restaurant. I would dine here twice using the dining plan. We all loved the bread. My DD's shared the Pasta & Tomato Sauce which they liked and had the Chocolate "Moose" for dessert which was VERY rich and they didn't care for it. DH had the Cheese Soup, Mushroom Filet and Creme Brulee for dessert. I had the Mixed Field Greens salad, the 7 oz Filet and the Sorbet for dessert. Everything was simply delicious. Service was good as well. Overall rating A+
5/18: 1900 Park Fare - The character interaction was great. Our server brought us a complimentary smootie drink, we chose strawberry and chocolate and neither were very good at all, so we ordered soft drinks. The strawberry soup is very good. The food for the adults and children were very good as well. The desserts looked better than they tasted though. The girls loved the sundae bar though. Overall rating B+
5/19: Chef Mickey's Dinner - The characters were great and we weren't rushed at all. The food was very good as well. I learned that people tend to go to the buffet side closet to the entrance and skip the other side to the left. Go to the left for a much shorter line. All of the food was good and the desserts were very yummy and a good variety. Overall rating: B+
5/20 Boatwright's Dining Hall Dinner - We paid for the girls here and they shared the spaghetti & meatballs. DD had a garden salad with ranch dressing as well. DH and I both had the French Onion Soup for an appetizer. For dinner DH had the Pot Roast which he said was very good. I had the 10oz Top Sirloin which had some kind of seasoning on it which I grew to like some, it was a little too spicy for me. The potatoes were very good though. For dessert I had the cheesecake which was a little dry and DH had the Chocolate Cake which he said was good. The waiter packed these up for us to go as we were stuffed and had them for a snack later that evening. The service was a little slow as they didn't have enough waiters on schedule that eveing.Overall Rating B

5/21 - Hoop-Dee Doo Revue - Very good show! A little corny but in a good way. DD's loved it and want to go back next time we visit the world. The food was good. Sangria was very good. Our waitress was okay. Overall rating B+
5/22 - Ohana Breakfast - Super character breakfast. The character interaction was the best - Lilo & Stitch are super. They also have a parade with the children & the characters which was a lot of fun. The food was pretty good. The eggs were a little runny and the waffles a little crunchy, but the rest was very good especially the bread basket. Overall rating B+
5/22 - Akershus Princess Storybook Dinner - Suprisingly good! After reading all of the mixed reviews on the food here, we were pleasantly suprised. DD's had meatballs with pasta and cheese ravioli. My DD6 didn't like the ravioli as it was too cheesey and didn't come with pasta sauce on it so she ate the pasta and meatballs with her sister. DH & I both had the Traditional Kjottkaker which is a Norwegian meatloaf which was very good. The cauliflower, garlic, cheese potatoes were good as well. The cold table had quite a variety of foods that all should be familiar with including cold cuts, cheese, breads, regular salad, chicken salad, potato salad, shrimp as well as some items that aren't so familiar. The dessert tray was very good as well, though we found the rice cream bland. The mousse and tart were very yummy! Character interaction was good and so was our waitress. Overall rating B+

I did use Snack credits for a Dole Whip Pineapple Float and a funnel cake as well. Pretty much anything under $4 was allowed. Dining plan is worth it, but you eat, A LOT! Also I found it hard to plan your dinner ADR's and I found that later seatings would have probably been better.

Awesome reviews -- thanks. I am so looking forward to Ohana b'fast with Stitch (he's my personal fav). Also -- you made my day knowing that I can get Dole Whips as a snack.. MMMMM---Dole Whips!!!

Enjoyed reading your reviews.

We were there the same week you were. We ate at 5 or 6 of the same places you did...just on different nights

We ate at 1900 Park Fare & CM on the reverse of your nights. We greatly enjoyed our dinners there!

Great reviews, thanks for sharing your experience. ::MinnieMo

Thanks for the great reviews! I was wondering if I could order a salad at Le Cellier and now I know I can. Did they give you any trouble for ordering a salad as an appetizer?

No problem ordering the salad and it was delicious! I wish I was back there now! :goodvibes

Enjoyed reading your reviews - Thanx for sharing.

Thanks for the reviews! :)

You say you wish that the ADRs had been later -- when did you have them, and what time would have been better?

I'm trying to figure out timing for our ADRs, with a 5 and an 8 year old.

Most of our dining was between 4:40 and 6:00. It seems by the time you get lunch and with so much food on the Dining Plan your not hungry early (the heat doesn't help either) When we ate at Boatwright's I was able to push us back until 6:30 which was great. I was so worried that a 7:40 p.m. was too late to eat at Chef Mickey's but it was fine. I would just suggest the 6:00 hour, depending what time of year you go. All of the parks were open until 9 or 10 (later with EMH) so that would have worked out for us.

Thanks for the great reviews. We have early ADRs too. I think we will do late breakfast/brunch to make up for the not being hungry before dinner problem. We have character breakfasts a couple of days and sometimes we just have granola bars and juice on the way out and then do early lunch. :)
