Hi everyone. I've never written dining reviews before but I love reading them. This was a last minute trip and we were on the dining plan. The cast of characters was myself, DH, and our two DD's ages 19 and 10. Sorry no food porn.
Pop food court- the food was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful, loved both the blueberry and choc. chip muffins and dd's loved the dirt for dessert
Sci Fi Dine In- DH and I had cheeseburgers and fries he had a milkshake and I had ginger ale. DD's both had the ribs and shakes. For dessert we had the fruit salad to go. Everything was delish and we loved the atmosphere.
LeCellier- DH, DD and I all had the NY strip. Older DD had the cheddar cheese soup and prime rib sandwich. For dessert DH had the choc. cake DD and I had creme bruelle and younger DD had the choc. moose. Both DD's had milkshakes with their meals. Everything was good but this was our 2nd time eating here and feel it's overrated but thats just our opinion.
Chef Mickeys Dinner- the food was good and we love the character interaction. We eat here every vacation.
Crystal Palace Dinner- this was our first time eating here and we all loved it. The food was very good and the characters were great.
50's Prime Time Cafe- OMG this is my new favorite restaurant. We wanted to try it many times but didn't because we stuck w/ MaMa Melrose for the Fantasmic Pkg. We loved the atmosphere, very fun, We got to visit with our "cousin Jason" who was wonderful. My DD's loved him. I had the chicken pot pie, DH had the meatloaf, older DD had the fried chicken, and younger DD had the pot roast. For dessert DD's both had s'mores, DH had the ice cream sundae and I had the Boston Cream cupcake. EVERYTHING was delish. This is now on our must eat at list.
Cape May Cafe Clambake- getting there from Pop in the rain was "fun" but definitely worth it. We all loved this buffet. The food was very good.
We also ate at Casey, Cosmic Rays, Main St ice cream palor,Restaurantosaurus, and Wolfgang Puck Express, all were good.
We had our first Dole Whip Floats- to die for. I don't know why we never tried them before.
We had the margaritas at La Cava in Epcot. DH had jalapeno and I had avocado, Both were good but we would not get those flavors next time.
We also did the Fireworks Dessert Party at MK and everyone really enjoyed it. The desserts were good and the view was great.
Thats it, I think. Sorry for any misspelled words. We had a great vacation and ate a lot of great food. We had 5 counter service meals and 8 desserts left on our last night. We used 4 counter service meals for breakfast to take along on Magical Express and traded one in for snacks to bring home along with our 8 other snack credits. Not really a good use of the snack credits.
