Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me out with something. I wanted to order a replica of the top layer of our wedding cake (which was originally made by the Grand Floridian bakery) for our upcoming trip. We'll be staying off-site, so it's my understanding that we'll either have to pick it up, or it can be given to us at a GF restaurant. I also wanted to arrange for this on the first or second night of our trip, so we can enjoy the cake for the rest of our week.
Here's the problem: DH is refusing to go to a GF restaurant! I told him I wanted to try some new places this trip, and showed him the menus from both 1900 Park Fare and the GF Cafe. He said he doesn't want to go to EITHER one and would rather go back to Ohana on that particular night.
We have already been to Citricos and Narcoosee's on previous trips and weren't interested in returning. Picking it up in person by myself also won't be possible because it will just be the two of us and we will always be together.
So, short of ruining the surprise, does anyone have any ideas? I know he would really, really love the cake, and it would be a great surprise for him, as he often talks about how great the cake was and he wishes he could have more of it.
