and she decided to make a snow globe with 100 pieces of heart confetti. I read on a website to use mineral oil that the confetti will float better. Anyone ever use mineral oil ??? Will it work???

Can't help you out with the Mineral Oil thing, but just wanted to say that I think it is great that your DD is doing this project! :) Very creative!!

My DS is in Kindergarten and their 100 days was on Monday and each child had to bring in 100 items of something, so Andrew brought 100 pennies from his piggy bank! :)

Yes, I have heard that mineral oil, is better... it has the slow effect compared to the water effects.. usually the snow just blew around...

As for 100 day project for my DD, we took some miscellaenous stuff, and made pattern on posterboard.

My DD just turned in her project this week and she wanted a piece of construction paper with 100 handprint stickers on it, it's her project , her idea and her job so I let her do what she wanted to do.

Seth is doing the same thing. His 100th day is Monday. This weekend we are counting out 100 M&M's. All the kids are bringing in some sort of "snack" of 100 so they can make trail mix.

Thanks Cindy B, wanted to check before we used it.

All those projects are cute.. My DD has really enjoyed picking out what confetti she wanted to use and I gave her a list of ideas that I got from here and she picked out her project. It is so neat when they show their creativity.
