My DD is touring england in Feb, what type of Jacket should she bring?

February can be a cold month so jacket looks like it could be warm enough. Hat, gloves and scarf will finish it off :goodvibes

Might want to invest in as much as you can. England can be really cold sometimes (Weather wise...)

I would take A Coat, I would most probably Be cold

I would buy hat, scarf and gloves and make sure is water proof. It can rain a lot in winter or we may perhaps see some snow. I would buy some sensible boots for the snow. Where abouts is she touring?

I didn't even think of boots. Good Idea. I should buy them now so she can break them in. She hasn't given me an itinerary yet you can be sure i will be checking with you guys as soon as i get it. I have never been to europe so I am clueless. Thanks, Gina

I'd also get a microfibre fleece, just in casae she needs an extra layer. Easy to carry and really warm under a jacket.

I would suggest possibly something a bit longer in length or a waterproof to wear over the top incase it rains or snows. The jacket you have shown would drip water straight onto the tops of her legs.

The weather is likely to be very cold and wet so I would definitely say she need a hat, scarf gloves and some warm waterproof footwear.

Definitely at least mid-thigh length for a jacket. If you can get one of those with a detachable inner jacket then you're covered in case it turns mild unexpectedly (Feb in the UK can be anything from blizzard to 65 F!) Even in central London it can be bitterly cold if the East wind is blowing - London Bridge station is officially the coldest place on warth! (in my opinion, if ever I have to change trains because of "the wrong kind of snow")
