She wants to know if there is anything to hold onto when standing. This is her first trip to DW and the first time I will be using the buses to get from the resort to the park and back.

We will be staying at POR in November. She will have just turned 9 when we go and is asking loads of questions.

Yes, there are numerous hand-holds on all the busses.

If she's familiar with city buses, tell her they're exactly like that. The top of each seat has a handrail that rises a couple of inches from the top of the seat and runs the length of the seat, with the edge nearest the aisle raised and angled a little, to make it easier to hold onto if you're stading there. In addition, every couple of seats or so, on both sides, there are rails that go from floor to ceiling. AND, for the taller crowd, there are handrails about 6 feet or so off the floor, that run from front to back on both sides of the aisle.

Since your question has been answered, I just want to say, I'm excited for her and if there are any other questions just keep asking. You know you'll get answers here!! :goodvibes

I think it's great that your DD has questions and that you're posting them here. I have an 11 yo DD and we do the same thing. It seems like there are always new questions no matter how many times one goes. She'll say -- Can you ask your Disney friends about XXX? This board is great. So is POR. Have a great trip!
