I've have been thinking about the same thing this past weekend in regards to the heat at WDW. I'm going in July!!!!! It will all be good....
Congrats your 30lbs! That is so awesome!!!!!

Seriously. It starts to get murderously hot around 11 (the humidity is what makes it so miserable) and won't really ease up until much later, sometimes not at all until the sun goes down.
) because I know how boring that can get, but seriously if you want to drop fast pounds, it's a viable method.
Either the Keens that you've mentioned or others that are very comfortable. You'll want to be sure your socks (if you wear them) are thick and comfortable too. (Not to mention those "unmentionables"
yep, they need to be light, and cottony too).

Plan on 11-5.Seriously. It starts to get murderously hot around 11 (the humidity is what makes it so miserable) and won't really ease up until much later, sometimes not at all until the sun goes down.
For fast weight loss that is safe, check out MediFast. You can drop 30 pounds safely and quickly, if you follow the plan. Exercising is fine, but without a decrease in calories, it really won't help much. (One of the great misunderstood aspects of all time). I won't natter on (can you tell I'm a crusader?) because I know how boring that can get, but seriously if you want to drop fast pounds, it's a viable method.
Be sure to bring only natural fiber clothing. Anything with the twins is going to make you feel like you are wearing saran wrap.
Be sure to have those good shoes.Either the Keens that you've mentioned or others that are very comfortable. You'll want to be sure your socks (if you wear them) are thick and comfortable too. (Not to mention those "unmentionables"
yep, they need to be light, and cottony too).
Be sure to have a lightweight hat. Something that the air can flow through, but that the sun will not beat down directly on your head.
Sunscreen is a real issue for me. Most of them make me miserably hot, and sticky so I now only use Neutrogena. I used to use only Bain de Soleil but I can't find it anymore.
Drink buckets of water. Seriously. You'll be amazed at how much you'll need to keep yourself from feeling nauseated.
Oh, and be sure those light comfy clothes in natural fiber are all light colored as well. Loose fitting too.
Bring mosquito repellent with DEET. It's nasty stuff, but so are those 'skeetos. They'll eat you alive if you let them. I use the spray on my clothing, hat, shoes, ect. and try to keep it off my skin as much as possible.
Sunglasses, too. I'm always amazed at how many folks show up at WDW in the dead of summer and don't have sunglasses. Talk about headache!
Hope that helps some. I've had some serious run ins with the heat at WDW, so now respect it mightily.![]()
. Get's you out of the heat and off your feet, for the most part (not China, or Canada...).
You have to prepare for the weather and the conditions.
). Anyway, here are things we found really help taht i didn't notice in DVC's list (but I scanned so I apologize if I repeat soemthing).

But you know, it's good we found out NOW! Yesterday was a scorcher here, guessing it was in alot of places. I'm not a shorts girl, I do capris. My DP wears shorts, but then she's lighter than meI noticed, even though I was wearing a tshirt, I was miserable. I think I may break down, and go against ALL that is within me, and wear tank tops. Even as I write that...my stomach turns. As HORRIFIC as my arms are ( the size of a New England Patriots' line backer!) it's gotta be about comfort! Hell, I'm paying for this vacation, so I should be comfortable. I say this now, we'll see if I chicken out! I haven't worn tank tops outside of my house, since I was MUCH younger and firmer!!

One more thing I just thought of.....the storms!
Be prepared for afternoon storms, its gonna happen!
Get cheap poncho's at home before you leave.
Have shoes that can withstand water.
And if you are "connected" while at the parks you may want to pre-program a local news radar into your device....
http://www.wesh.com/wxmap/13509939/detail.html
If a bad storm hits, people will leave the parks in droves! You may want to be ahead of the curve by either leaving the parks before the masses, or setting up a plan to do something in the park that will keep you safe and dry.
) and waterproof sandals (we are lands end lovers for that) and stay out in the rain (unless their is a danger from lightening of course). It cools you down and you have the park virtually to yourself.SORRY! I meant as being a big chick myself, wear whatever...
Okay, hell, I didn't mean it however it sounded.
Oy.

Oh, and when the summer storm of the day is over, it get's HOTTER and more HUMID! I don't know where people get the "rain comes and cools it off." It most certainly does NOT. The pavement will actually steam...
eke!!!!!
