We celebrated my daughter's b-day (3 y/o) and did the Ariel's Grotto thing. We just stayed 1 night and 1 day hopper ticket (we live in SoCal). I'll try to answer as many ?'s as I can but here a a few pics:
The hotel room, I had reserved just a regular room but they hooked us up and COMP'd us the much nicer DCA park facing room. Surprised they had a 13th floor but it was awesome:
Hallway
RM.1326 ooohhhh..13th floor
View facing from our room to DCA needless to say it was a stunning view
View of PPH Pool from the waterslide the weather was hot but perfect for a cool dip.
View of waterslide at PPH It's better suited for kids, very-well attended by lifeguards at top and below. We sent our 3 y/o down it, the lifeguard at top tells the lifeguard at bottom that a "'lil one's coming down" as the final plunge is a tad deep..but the lifeguard, at the bottom, made sure to scoop her up as she went from sitting to "superman" at the bottom..she went head on..but like I said the lifeguard scooped he up..good folks
Sweet Surpise.. They brought us the chocolate covered/sprinkle cupcakes with cherries on top when we got there and then when we came back from swimming there was a plate of chocolate dipped, Mickey rice krispy treats waiting for us..I think I was more excited than anyone else..
Room Service We actually ordered the Continental but they accidently brought us the omellette..but I'm the least pickiest person when it comes to food..it was delicious eitherway.)
The hotel was great and the staff were helpful. Only thing I would say that needs to be improved would be if they palced elevators in the parking garage. Also, the bellhop lost a little bag that held my daughter and son shoes, luckily they still ahd their Croc's extra but they were the ones they were going to wear at the park.

All in all a great experience for my daughter and son. A little hiccup by the seating hosts' at top but a b-day to remember for our daughter.
