My daughter wants this tv. Anyone know if this is a good one or not?

Her birthday is a few weeks after Christmas and she would love to have this in her dorm. $249 at best buy for a 29 inch sounds good to me, but I haven't looked around that much to know. Thanks for any advice.

VIZIO - E-Series - 29" Class (29" Diag.) - LED - 720p - 60Hz - Smart - HDTV

720p is a lower quality picture. So if she is planning to watch video's the picture might be grainy.

If you have a BJS wholesale club we just got a 24" 1080p for $149.00 Its a Samsung.

I bought that tv for our camper because we neede something between 32 inch and 24. I don't notice a grainy picture and I like the smart tv functions when we are at a campground with wi fi.

These days, frequently all the TV's are a certain size are made by the same company no matter what the brand name on it. Everyone I know that had bought Vizio has been pleased with the TV and the price.

We love Vizio tvs. We are gradually buying new ones to replace the old ones (other brands) in our house. I think we have two more to go.

We have been looking for a 32 inch tv for our bedroom and I have been told by my "geek squad" bro to get 1080p and 120Hz and I have been looking at decent tvs in the $280 range. I think $250 is a high price for what you are looking far! I also have been told that the best deals for tvs are around Super Bowl!:thumbsup2
