Where did the time go?
My oldest child had her graduation ceremony tonight. It was very nicely done and not too long. I almost made it all the way through without crying, but seeing her walk across the stage was just too much for me.
While I'm excited about her future plans (University of Central Florida) I know I will miss the time we've had together. She is truly one of my best friends and I love spending time with her even if we're not doing anything special.
So, now that she's off celebrating at Project Graduation I'm taking a few moments to reflect on her life - thus far.
. . . and what' next for me? DS enters high school in the Fall and starts football practice on Monday. Except this time, I know just how quickly time will fly by.
