ME It's actually a very nice hotel right by Downtown Disney. You've been to Downtown Disney right?

MI Is that the place with the castle?

ME Oh they used to call it Magic Kingdom or something like that but now they call it Downtown Disney.

One day some of us were discussing winter solstice and Christmas so he walked over to tell us that Christ was not born in December but because Jan. had New Years Day and Feb. had Valentines Day etc. December had no holiday so it became Christmas. Yes , same family tree.

Hmm... he started out OK there, then wen't off course Most Bible scholars agree JC was born in the spring. The reason we celebrate his birth in Dec is because Dec 25th was a pagan holiday that the Roman emperor Constantine wanted to usurp with a Christian holiday. To this day, it remains a mixture of Christian and pagan elements.

Run that by him and see what he says.

MI is our "Accounts Payable Specialist." And she is good friends with the boss.


Okay today's MI encounter.

Our cost accountant went to China for 2 weeks. (Visiting family) She was suppose to be back today, but didn't come in. She got sick while there and is taking today off to rest.

So MI informs me of this, and then tells me. "Well it doesn't surprise me, because you know, China is the origin of all illnesses."

ME For once in my life I was speechless!!
