I know she heard the OMG!! that came out of my mouth. Co-worker bursts into tears and heads for the bathroom. I give her a dirty look as I pass by and she says "WHAT??" My Asian co-worker has asked if I would go to HR with her, I told her of course.

I'd say I can't believe she said that, but after all your posts about her--I can. That's awful! I hope she does get fired!

HR will have to talk to her at the very least because if they don't, this coworker can sue for a hostile work environment.

What I hate about people like this is they breed others just like them and doesn't she have 4 kids, which Evilgenius said 2 of them don't talk to her, so they must be the good ones.

That is just so way below the belt and out of line! She needs a good slap across the back of the and to be fired. And I really truly hope she is. It is one thining to make stupid comments because you are stupid and obviously uneducated, but it becomes a whole different story to be when you make those comments about someone. Yep, I think she will be outta there by next week, especially if management is involved. It nothing comes of this, I would tell the "hurt" co-worker to go HIGHER UP!!! Now, lets see....maybe another Not so Bright one will take her place! We can only hope.......

I think I worked with Miss I about 20 yrs ago. I was about 25 at the time and the older woman supervisor told me she could not believe I was Polish. I asked why and she said I was very smart and not stupid. Ok.....and.......she said well everyone knows that all Polish people are stupid otherwise why would they have all those jokes. Ignorance knows no bounds. Sad thing was 20 yrs ago you were just supposed to blow those kind of comments off. I hope Miss I gets her butt blasted for this one.
