Oh, I soooo agree with this! I would start talking about planning a trip and not knowing where to stay, what time of year to go, what a good deal is and let her take it away

My DM asked her why she was still smoking (she could hear her lighting up). The woman told my DM that she only smoked the good expensive cigarettes now. Its those darn cheap ones that gave her the cancer, not the good ones!

So for those of you that smoke, remember to only smoke the good stuff.

I used to work with a Miss Information too. One day we were discussing the local hospital. I brought up the fact that they don't have a defibrillator.
Well, I got a tongue lashing from this girl like you wouldn't believe. How could I say such a thing? I didn't know what I was talking about etc. etc. She then goes on to tell me that they do INDEED have a defibrillator and she knows it! Her mom was "HOOKED UP" to it for a few days! Let's just say I was a little SHOCKED to hear that her mom was hooked up to one for a few days!

Lunch was truly an amazing experience. 6 of us went. 4 of us have vacations in the works including Miss Information. One girl is going to China. (See yesterday's post) One girl is going to San Francisco. Did you know that there aren't any street cars in San Fran, that's just in the movies. Oh and Fisherman's Wharf is nothing to see. Miss Information is going to Vegas. Doesn't say too much about her trip, won't even tell you where she's staying. Very curious. And then of course there's me. Going to DW in September. What an explosion. Why am I going to DW? WTH am I going to do there for a WEEK?!?!? As I'm trying to explain that dh and I loved going there and that is where I feel safe and get some closure on his death, she's going on and on and on. When I explain to her that there's 4 parks plus DTD she looks at me like I have 2 heads. I name all 4 parks and she tells me there's one park, and that those are the names of the different parts of the park. Told me not to stay on site because someone she knows did that and it was worse than staying at a Motel 6. No she didn't know which resort. And the food is just HORRIBLE, she'd rather eat dog food. I finally give up and ask her when was the last time she was at DW. (I hope you're sitting down) SHE'S NEVER, EVER BEEN THERE AND NEVER INTENDS TO GO!!! The whole table just sat and stared at her. We all then changed the subject

OH and what did she order to "stick it to the company"? She ordered the grilled fish platter which looked really good, but she ate it all so that she wouldn't have to cook dinner for her and her dh. I asked what her dh was going to eat and she told me "Who cares."

Let me get this straight. She KNOWS you're going to DW because your DH loved it so much there and you want to go there to honor him and recapture some of the memories and commemorate some of the love of Disney you both shared......and SHE had the gall to rip that trip to shreds?????

Im so glad to hear you are still going to WDW as planned. Ive never even posted to you before but Ive read your posts and whats going on in your life. I agree with you - it will be closure. And I lost my mom in January, last year.... I kinda feel like everywhere I go, she's with me...so where better to bring her (and your hubby) than WDW!

I think he'd like that better than sitting home. I know my mom would!
