My clipart has come to life!

I loved the Pixar short in the beginning of Monsters Inc so much that I decided to use it as my clipart. Well it seems that I have a real life version of it now.

I've always loved birds and usually have had at least one all my life. Earlier this year Matt gave me a cockatiel (mine had died 2 yrs ago and I went all this time bird-less) Somehow - don't ask, long story - I have ended up with 7 parakeets now. We got them a nice big cage with a lot of perches and toys and they seemed pretty happy.

We decided to let Pixel, the cockatiel, out of her cage when the parakeets were out to see how they would get along since Pixel seemed to really enjoy being in a cage next to them.

Well.. long story short, Pixel has decided to move into their cage. She won't come out and imitates everything they do.

So.. picture it. There is a perch in the cage that is 2 feet long, and right now sitting on it is 7 parakeets with a big old cockatiel smack dab in the middle.. looks just like my clipart
