My city's run out of scrapbooks!

I went to all the stores at the local shopping centre and retail park yesterday and they'd all run out (except the one claiming they never sold them in the first place - erm, you were selling them last week!)

My housemate is driving me to a huge craft superstore a few miles away tonight in the hope that they'll have some, otherwise I'm stuck!

Anyone else had a scrapbook album stock out?

They were out of ALL scrapbooks! Luckily the big out of town superstore place had a big selection including the one I wanted, phew! I was trying to avoid buying from there as I never leave with just the one thing I went for. Came home tonight with the scrapbook, 3 patterened papers, 2 x 2m lengths of ribbon in blue and green and a set of cat embellishments Wouldn't have been so bad if housemate hasn't nipped into the stationery place next door and told me that 4x6 photo paper was on offer... I went out intending to spend £10 and ended up spending £25!!!!

LOL!! I don't know the pounds to dollar exchange rate, but you bought 2.5 times more "stuff" than you intended!! I am glad to read you found the scrapbook you wanted/needed.

It was worth it though, I made my first ever non-Disney layout last night about one of my kittens and it looks great!

That is not bad! I spent more than that today at Recollections & I didn't even buy any sale items ! My husband just laughed when I told him about my shopping spree.
