Well it seems that the one thing other than cat food that she likes is small pieces of white bread (pencil eraser size chunks).

I'll grab a couple of slices to snack on and she will run over looking for a little piece.

Several years ago, my husband and I had a small family gathering at our house. To keep things easy for us, decided to do a buffet instead of a formal sit-down dinner.

After everyone left, I went upstairs and found a half-eaten roll laying on the floor in the bedroom. Apparently one of my cats helped himself when no one was looking and ran off with a roll.

I really wished I had been able to see it, it must have been a funny sight.

Our cat loves the inside of rolls, I was so surprised when he ate some of the bread. He was begging at the table, and I held out a piece of the roll...actually to discourage him from begging, because I figured he'd sniff at it and go awy and he loved it.

My cat hunts tampons. Luckily she only hunts the ones in the wrapper. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

She will try to nab them out of my purse.....she can open the closet door to get a whole box out and dump them on the floor and carry them away.

My monthly dilema happens when I have only on tampon left in my purse and it has bite marks in it. I have to decide how desperate I am. ;)

Something like this happened to me a while ago and I laughed so hard!!!

A couple weeks ago I was unloading groceries from the car trunk at my parents house. I left the lid up as I took in the first load, and when I went back out for the next load, I found their cat in the trunk. She had riffled through all the bags, found the one with a loaf of bread and ripped the bread bag open. By the time I got there she had already ripped big chunks out of three pieces--apparently she just wanted crust? When I asked her what she thought she was doing, she just looked up at me with an innocent stare, sat down and gave off a distinct feeling of "What, I didn't do anything...It was like that". But her wiskers and chin were covered with crumbs! I was laughing so hard I had to sit down. Our cat the mighty hunter of that most elusive of prey--bread in a bag! :rotfl2:

Our little Sophie loves Potato Rolls! She knows the sound of the bag when we open in and is right on my heels begging for a piece in 10 seconds! I used to have a cat when I was younger that loved Cheese Doodles. Cocoa learned how to open the breadbox, pull out the bag, rip it open with his teeth and munch away! After he was done he'd swipe the bag onto the floor and the dog would finish it off. LOL.

After returning home one evening from grocery shopping, I left 2 loaves of bread on the kitchen counter overnight, intending to put them away in the morning. The next morning, both loaves had been chewed through the plastic and chunks taken off the bread in different sections. My first though was , OMG a mouse must be in the house! Then I see Angel Baby walk by with this look :rolleyes1 and suddenly I knew who had attacked the bread. From then on, if bread was left unattended, Angel Baby was right there. She loves bread

Littlefoot has attacked loaves of bread - I always thought is was because of the way the wrapper crinkled - but maybe she is eating some too.

Charlie loves olives - he bats them around, rolls all over them, rubs his face on them and eventually eats them - once after giving him one, we hear these horrible lamenting moans and cats cries from the kitchen... I ran out to see what was wrong and here is Charile with his paw, shoulder deep under the stove crying for his beloved lost olive...

Sassy will only eat things that I'm eating. Like if my brother tried to give her someething, she wouldn't take it, but if I were eating the same thing, she would try to take it out of my mouth. The other day, I was sitting on the couch eating chips. Sassy came up to me and looked at me, looked at the chip, looked at me. She went up to my face and tried to take a bite out of the chip that was in my mouth. I laughed at her and she looked at me like "What?" I of course had to give her a piece. She ate it so fast. LOL. Then she came over for more. I can't say no to her, so she had 3 or 4 small pieces of chips. LOL.

One night dinner consisted of spaghetti and meatballs and of course there was parmesan cheese on the table. My picky eater cat jumped up on to the table and stuck her face in the cheese! LOL Her face was dusted with parmesan cheese! She also likes tomato sauce, I guess she's an Italian cat.

Cute stories! :thumbsup2

Our big cat, Tiger, loves sour creme and onion potato chips, the kind that comes in the green bag. I think he knows colors, because he only comes sniffing around when we have that bag around, not the other types of chips.

Mine like bread and olives too!

My cat Max loved white bread too!

Funny story, I went away and had a cat sitter coming by once or twice a day for a long weekend, on the day I was to come home my friend went by and all was well. When I walked in the door the freezer was open, the loaf of bread (bag) was on the floor in the kitchen and it was ripped open and portion of the bread was missing! And where was Max? Fast asleep (with a full belly no doubt) laying in the sun. For the longest time couldn't figure out how he had done it, but one day caught him in action. He would get up on the counter, then on top of the fridge, push off with his paws in the right spot and the freezer would open, then he would get back on the counter, back on top of the fridge and creep his way to the freezer! He was a stinker!

Max was an olive lover too! He would do anything for an olive!!!
