I know you think I'm crazy. My DH does. He thinks Disney is a budget buster, but I'm using perks and I've hoarded gift cards to prove him wrong. I've got a very budget friendly vacation planned in November during the Food & Wine Festival. We are taking an "adult only" vacation with some friends.

My DH and I are traveling with FF miles. Thanks Southwest Visa. Booked
We are staying at Holiday Inn Orange Lake Vacation Club for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom with Priority Club Points (Thanks to my DH, he traveled a lot on business this year.) Booked
My car rental is also being paid with points from either Southwest or Priority Club points. We have enough points for both.
My 10-day no-expiration park tickets were purchased last year before rates increased.
I have Disney Rewards points to spend in the park....about $150.
I have 2 $50 gas gift cards, that we received as gifts.
I have $100 in Amex gift cards that were also gifts.
I have my points rewards for about 2 $50 gift cards for restaurants.

So my expenses will be food and beverages not covered with gift card, airport parking and the $99 annual fee for the Chase Southwest Visa Card. Might splurge on Blue Man Group Tickets.

I'm so excited to go on this vacation!

You've done an awesome job! I try to do the same thing with rewards points and FF miles. It doesn't cover the full cost of a Disney vacation, but we manage to shave a considerable amount off of the cost of a trip by combining whatever rewards and discounts we can use.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks. This year had to be budget friendly with 3 of our cars (older vehicles) needing a lot of work, so much so that we gave up on our 99 Suburban (which I love but has become a money pit) and leased a Jeep Cherokee.

Sounds like a great vacation plan! We are also Priority Club members (gold) so I'd like to look into the Orange Resort at some point. Do they shuttle you to the parks, or do you drive?
