My brother & I think way too much alike!!

For Father's day one year, my brother was in Germany and I was in the states. We both got my dad the exact same Father's Day card. A Snoopy one and neither of us are big Snoopy fans in particular. And neither is my dad.

Bro's in the same town as me now and this year, it's happened twice already. We got our grandma the exact same gift for her birthday last month. Cut flowers was the gift and they were exactly the same kind and colors. We even bought them at the same store. The odd part is, the flowers were bought at a grocery store, and neither or us usually shop there. Then we got her the same card for Valentine's Day.

Does that ever happen to anyone else? We must be on the same wave length or something. I always say Great minds think alike, but this much alike??

My sis and I are 4 years apart. When we were about 3 and 7 (i'm older), our parents took us to a local dept store to get Christmas presents for each other. My dad took one of us and my mom took the other. We opened our presents on Christmas Day and we'd each picked out the same doll for each other.

We've both purchased the same shirt or other item of clothing before without knowing it. I've also shown up at her house, or vice versa, and we're wearing the same Disney tshirt, LOL.

I have 3 siblings and we are roughly 4 years apart - 11 years from oldest to youngest. Many years ago we were each living in a different part of the country and unknowingly we all sent my father the exact same Birthday card.

One year at Christmas my DB & DSIL sent me the identical Christmas present that I sent them. We know they crossed in the mail because they arrived a day apart (we always do safe arrival calls for packages (pre-email).

Families just think alike I guess.

Thats how my brother and I are. We couldnt be more different if we had different parents. But we think sooooo much alike at times. A situation will happen while we are both somewhere and right away we will both quote some movie line that no one has a clue we are talking about. Same thing goes for song lyrics. We at times can finish each others sentences when talking about movies or music. We just think alike about a lot of things.
