My books are being critiqued tomorrow!

I've written two children's books and have written about half of a young adult novel. Tomorrow night, I am meeting with a group of writers who will critique my work. Several of the writers in the group have been published. I am nervous, but looking forward to hearing what they think of my work.

If things go well, I will start sending query letters to agents on the children's book. I think getting published going to turn out to be more difficult than it was to write the stories. I would rather not self-publish if I can help it.

Good luck!I think self publishing is only when you want your circle of friends and relatives to have a copy. We know one person who made hundreds of copies of his wife's book and they are still sitting in their home

Don't be nervous - and definitely don't be intimidated by the published writers. I'm published, and we've all been in your place before. Just have an open mind, and trust your gut!
