My Booking Story - I WAS new at this...

Okay, so if anyone else is new to booking over the phone, and with a code, here is what happened:

When I called, the automated voice asked me to enter my pin number. I did not have to tell the live operator this number again... cool! I said I had received a 40% offer, and was calling for more info. She started out by saying it was valid only for February, but then said it was for the whole year. (No wonder everyone is confused). :confused:

I tried to book a split stay, but the Polynesian was booked under that code for the dates I wanted (Dec 12-15). There was regular availability, but with rack rate - no code. So, I decided to extend the first part of my split stay to an entire stay. We got the Yacht Club... so I can't be sad at all! :woohoo:

I was all ready to book the water view, but I couldn't resist the Lagoon View - Regatta Club price. We saved $1390.50!!! I got it for cheaper than the whole stay at regular standard room prices. :faint: COOL!

Thanks for the help with the codes... now here's hoping we don't have to cancel!! ;)

(Oh, and if you're looking for info on that... for room-only (which this is) she said we have until 6 days before to cancel without penalty. The deposit is due in 14 days from now, and you can either pay the rest ahead of time or upon arrival.)

It is against the DISboards posting Guidelines to post pin numbers on the boards.

Just an FYI as a poster in this community you are expected to know, understand and abide by these guidelines.
 

Well, dang. I have not received either a post card or an e-mail so I've called CRO and asked them to check a couple of times to see if there is a code under my name. Every time I'm told no. I think I will have to call CRO again tomorrow and tell them that, yes, I most certainly do have a PIN for my room-only stay 4/25-5/05. They need to look harder. Maybe they will get tired of me calling and just give it to me. ;)
