It was a joke. I just figured that Hollywood would ruin a perfectly good story by putting one of those vapid actresses in the role.

That is my favorite book!! I re-read it about once a year. It's the most original story ever, she's an amazing writer. Her book "Lucky" is a tougher read, but also well written.
