Day 8
My birthday

Epcot, DSH and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

It was my birthday today . We got up early and headed to epcot. We went straight to Test Track, we got fast passes and then went straight to the stand by line and finally got to ride it, yay! After a 5minute wait. We then had a look around the shop and DD got a toy monorail which was sent back to the resort for collection later.
It was then time we could use our fast passes again, so we rode test track a second time.

We then headed to ride Soarin, however picked up a fast pass instead for later rather than waiting and we also watched the circle of life show while at the land.

Next we went to the Seas and rode Nemo. We had a look around at the sea life and DD did some of the computer quizzes. Turtle talk was just starting so we went to watch it, DD loves this, we missed it last trip so it was fun seeing it again.

We then went to ride Soarin before heading to WSC. DD wanted fish & chips for lunch again so that is what we had. She also brought another packed of crisps at the shop. We then went to France where I booked a makeup session at the make up shop. We had 45 minute wait until the lady was in that does the makeup so DD had an ice cream & I had a glass of champagne while we sat at the tables overlooking the lake.

I then go to my make up appoitment. The makeup looked great afterwards however I didn’t buy anything as the prices were expensive. If I had brought it all, it would have been half the cost towards my airfare coming back. DD had a bit of glitter and lip gloss put on which was okay as it wasn’t noticeable

We then go & get the boat to DHS as I wanted to ride RnR. The queues were quite long for RnR when we arrived so we go to the art of Disney for an animation class. After we finish there the parade is on so we go to check out the queue for RnR which was 20minutes, we decide to ride it as it is better than the 50minutes it was before. When we go to join the queue a CM stops me to say happy birthday, he then asks if there is just two of us, when I say yes he gives me two fast passes which have 9.30am on them so we run to join the fast pass queue. Aerosmith are my favourite band(though they are not really a band at the moment!!) So it was great to ride RnR on my birthday.

We then have a look in some shops before heading to get the boat to the Boardwalk, at the Boardwalk we have a look around, we look in the shop and the DVC show room, the room looked really nice and we would like to stay at BWV at some point however I prefer the AKV studio.

We then walk to the Yacht Club and there is a photo pass photographer outside the hotel so we get a picture taken. We then have a look around the Yacht Club shop which had some lovely clothes in before checking in for dinner.

Dinner at the Yacht Club is amazing, the CM were fantastic and treated both me and my DD great. I got a menu which said happy birthday Claire. DD had steak with mashed potatoes and carrots and I also had a steak. They were both amazing steaks and DD meal was fantastic value for $12. For dessert DD had the Mickey artist dessert and I had an ice cream Sunday. I also got a cup cake with a candle on. To drink I had a margarita(strong!!). It was an expensive meal however worth it.
