and we get to go after the holidays to spend our $100 :thumbsup2
Not at our store. They had NOTHING! just the gift card thing. So it was a bust for us there.

My best score.... hmm I suppose it would be Delia's. I was able to get 4 sweaters, and a winter coat for $100 the tops were buy on get one 1/2 off and the coat was 30% off. Plus I got $50 Delia bucks kind of thing- (Spend $100 get $50 off) which is good in a couple days not after Christmas.

Oh and I did get the free Vera Tote ($48 value) with purchase of a bunch of things for dd.

And I scored 2 $10 offs from Target (meaning I spent $200 at Target!:scared1: But I was able to hit it almost on the nose to get those 2 cards. and it was 2 carts full- I had dh with me so we split the order)

I am guessing there will be even better deals coming particularly on video games and clothing because I saw next to none of that being bought by anyone. I had my own personal shopper in Delia's.:thumbsup2

My husband got a 32in flat screen for our bedroom at walmart - think about 325.00

Wii Fit - 67.00

i picked up a bunch of wallflowers for 6 bucks each

TV for dd for her room for $100, DVD player for $30 and DH a blu-ray player for $65. DD got some clothes 50% off and cheaper at Aeropostle. For Dgd, picked up a Power Wheels 3-wheeler for $50 for my mom to get her (regular price $119), a Vtech Paint and Learn for $12 (regular $24) and two pretty dresses from Sears for $9 each (65% off). For ds and dil, an X-Box for $140with the gift cards I got back. Oh, and last night walmart still had a nice digital camera online for $59 for dd, picked up that up for dd.

I didn't really get as far in my shopping this year as I did last year, but the crowds had a lot to do with that, but felt like I did pretty good.

I was shocked at the people I saw buying things really and truly just because it was on sale!! A lady in front of me at Target picked up two portable DVD players and said "I don't know if we need these but I am going to get them anyway" And several grabbing $69 portable hard drives and didn't even know what they were 5 minutes prior! They would literally say "what is that?" and then once explained "oh, well we might could use that." and spend another $69. I just can't spend like that even on BF.

Me either.

I saw a few people like that - grabbing every that was marked as a doorbuster. One woman was litterally putting one of everything in her cart. I saw people with carts taht were overflowing with "stuff". I don't know if they had a plan or they were just grabbing one of every item because it was on sale.

Also, we went to Williams-Sonoma & got DD10 her own skillet set. They were Calphalon (regular $225. We paid $50). The lids were sold separately and cost $30. So, we bought them, but then took them back after realizing she didn't really need them. We also bought her a $125 faux leather aviator jacket for $23 at Penney's! And, at Claire's, I bought some clip-on earrings for buy 2/get one free. When checking out, I saw a watch like the one she wants (usually around $25) and asked about it. Come to find out, it was a promo item that was given away with purchases later in the day. They ended up letting me have it though!

We didn't go out for much, just a few small odds and ends, but I did get a great deal on a camera for dd11.

Was at Walmart and saw a camera in the clearance case for $50 so I asked if I could look at it. We pulled it out and it was a really nice camera. Everything was included including brand new batteries, 16mb card, etc. So I picked it up for her. I figured I'd go home and check online reviews and if it wasn 't a good camera I could return it.

So I come home to look it up on Amazon, and not only did it get pretty good reviews...they are being sold for $359 new :scared1: so I'll keep it for the $50 bucks I paid! It's a discontinued style that they had for awhile, but since its for an 11 yr old, I think it'll be fine. The look of it wll be a huge wow factor for dd! She will be thrilled!

I showed it to DH and he was like "what did THAT cost"? When I told him, he about fell over and then when I showed him the original price , he really about fell over. :rotfl:

I also got Lego HP Wii for $25 (normally $50) from lego.com with shipping it ended up being what the Target one was going for , but I didn't have to get up early or find it sold out. It's already been shipped!

So I got great deals on two must haves on my lists!:thumbsup2

I only went to TRU, but I think I did a pretty good job. Got the camera for dd for 40, the big Buzz Lightyear (the $80 one) for 40, the Monty Rex Dino for 40, a bunch of 3.99 EVDs, the lightsaber guns for $10, 3 ds games, Webkinz 3pk for 14.99, some Zoobles, 2 Big Transformers (I think they are 12 in?) for 10 each. My total bill at TRU should have come to about $515, but with all the sales, I paid $290...not too bad! :thumbsup2

Everything at Gap was half off! I spoiled myself and bought two sweaters, a pencil skirt, a warm alpaca vest, a scarf, and 2 long sleeved shirts. I bought a dress shirt for my fiance and some pj's for his mom--- all for $200! Not too bad really.

We did Kohls at 4am.. Cuisinart Coffee maker, some carters clothes (50% off, plus add'l 15% off) christmas dresses were atleast 50% off, some toys, MIL got the flip camera things for her grandsons.. They were giving Kohls bucks, so on top of what we saved we have tons of bucks - not sure how we will use them! Then on to AC Moore where we got a ton of Melissa and Doug toys Buy 1 get 1 free! That was probably our best deal of the day - they never go on sale.

I was very happy to get a new oven at Sears. I saved $200 on it. I also was thrilled with p.s. Aeropostle and Hollister. At Hollister they had just about everything on sale and before noon you got an extra 30% off. I did very well. One store that I was dissapointed in was Wet Seal. The line was half way around the store and they said that you had to be through the register by noon to get the 50% off. It was 11:30 and I knew that even if i had everything picked out i wouldn't be out of the line by then. They should have said everyone in line by 12:00 could get the 50% off. I didn't think that was right. They should have had more people working. So, needless to say I didn't shop there.

I didn't do too bad.

DS2 was being a total pill on Thurs eve, so we loaded up the family and headed over to Michael's to use the 30% off coupon. We needed frames for some pics we had printed from the Disney Stock photo CD we got on our last trip. Got 14x20 frames for less than $5 each! Score!

Then, after staying up until almost 1am (West Coast) trying to get the trampoline at WalMart.com, I gave up and went to ged. Woke up at about 5:20 coughing and decided to go try to get the one at Sport's Authority. They were VERY helpful and I was in and out in less than a half an hour, and the guy loaded it into my car for me!

SA is in the same shopping center as Target, so I texted a friend and met her over there. God some jammies for the kids, a couple of DVD's and the set of cars for $20 for DS. He loves to play "Hot Cars" (Hot Wheels) with Daddy!
My friend had about $150 worth of stuff, so I bought a few of her things and got the $10 gift card. Her total was $99.99 before tax, I kid you not, so she bought a candy bar to get the gift card for herself!

I then headed over to Joann's for the $1.29 flannel. I make burp cloths for baby gifts, so that was a total score!

I went home so DH could go to work, and then headed over to Old Navy with the kids. DD & I both needed jeans. Found what we needed, waited 1/2 in line to pay, and then realized the $10 of $50 coupon I had was for Thursday! Darn!

Went home and collapsed! :dance3:

Seriously my best deals were at Walgreens, LOL. I only went in to get the Jingle bucks Crest White toothpaste & the Venus Breeze razor. Figured I could send the jingle bucks with someone else going shopping to use up (didn't know how they worked).

Went to the back & a yellow tag on the eyeglass display caught my eye. Their reading glasses from Foster Grant (that I didn't know they carried - always go to B&Noble for them) were buy 1 get TWO free. So I grabbed 3 pairs in my 1.25 size. (My pair got stepped on in the parking lot last week when they fell out of my pocket).

So for about $61 -
3 pairs glasses
body wash
crest white
venus regular breeze razor
toothbrush
2 cami secret sets (may return one)

The gal who checked me out told me I could come right back & spend the jingle cash so I came back in - a couple things gave me a couple more coupons:

venus spa breeze razor
another Crest
2 cans WD40
4 packs of AAA batteries (buy 1, get 3 free)

After the $61 I spend another $3.97, $2.50 & $1.21 or so. For under $70 I got a ton of stuff - and when you figure the eyeglasses would have been $75 alone, I was ecstatic. SO WISH we had a Walgreens in our town.

Same here! We spent more time at Walgreens than WalMart!

My best deal was the Nook for $99 at WalMart. We went after all the craziness (7:00) and they price matched from Best Buy.

I had already bought most of the kids gifts, so I wasn't out for any big items on BF. I would say my best deal was all the dvd's I price matched. I took the Nebraska Furn. Mart ad with me to Walmart and got a dozen dvd's $2-3 each. Also picked up Red Dead Redemption for 1/2 off for my son ($29).

I am almost done shopping for DD, but I hit Walmart with my Mom and a friend at midnight. Mom and I were visiting So. NJ (where we grew up) and staying at my aunt's house- she keeps it at about 75 degrees so I would have been up anyways! I wanted to get DD a bunch of DVD's, but the one I wanted the most was Night at the Museum 2 (BR/DVD/Digital) for $5. Well, some guy had all of them in his cart! :headache: So I got a bunch of other DVD's, the $10 Littlest Pet Shop toy that is normally $30 (one for DD and one for charity) and a Zhu Zhu for $4. Then we went to Old Navy and got the $5 sleep bottoms and $15 Dreamer jeans.

So, I went back to my aunt's sauna- couldn't sleep. It was eventually 6am, so DH and I went back out and hit Staples. He got the Trend Micro Platinum virus protection for free after $70 rebate and I got a 50 pack of CD's for $2. Then our way back we passed Walmart and he wanted to look at the DVD's. The store was empty- yeah! It looked like they did some re-stocking so we were searching for the Night at the Museum 2 combo pack for $5, a woman said "I think I just saw it." Sure enough she found me a copy! Score! I also got suckered into buying another $4 Zhu Zhu-lol.
