My bad bad husband

For the past few years we've agreed not to buy gifts for each another.
He bought me something, darn him!
Oh well, I did pick up his favorite egg nog so maybe we're even, huh?
He got me a book because he thought my reading material as of late was a bit depressing. LOL I'm now the proud owner of the first in the Stephanie Plum series, some of the funniest stuff I've read in a while.
Anyone else read these?

I haven't heard of that author.

DH and I had the same agreement, but then thought that MIL would feel bad if the only present under the tree was for her... so we went out and bought "needed" gifts like an electric skillet and a DVD for DH.

Later DH decided that we needed a PS2 and some games. LOL I did sneak an extra DVD (LOTR 4 disc) under the tree. DH knew I had ordered it from amazon but we didn't expect it until after Christmas.

The look on his face when he pulled out the extra package. He looked frightened more than surprised-- but once he opened it he realized I hadn't broken our agreement.
