My Aulani window just opened...and DVC site book online page is down

Because you need a little more stress on a Monday morning, after checking the availability tool obsessively for the last couple months (and including late last night) for an Aulani one-bedroom in December, the big moment has arrived and the book online page doesn't work on either of two computers or two browsers, so I guess it's really down and not just me. Scheduled maintenance starts tomorrow evening, not this morning, and I'm not feeling great about what the wait times are going to be like calling Member Services by phone in a little while, on a Monday morning, while online booking is down. The availability looked wide open up until last night, but still, sigh.

Yep. Same issue here, not for Aulani, but for Grand Californian. Oh, the joys of Disney IT.

I'm in the same window. 7 month window today, but I can't book the room I want. Greeeeaat. Not looking forward to the call either.

I was able to get the room I wanted. There was only one left 3 minutes after member services opened. Hope everyone was able to get their reservation!

Horrible! But it was obviously working for some people, because on the resort availability page, my dates went from all available to partial availability at around 805am. Not impressed!!

Well, after waiting an hour for Member Services to open, then spending twenty minutes on hold, I got through and was able to make the Aulani reservations we wanted. Even the agent booking went really slow, and the agent told me everything runs slower on Monday mornings and there were triple the average calls backed up and waiting this morning. Hmm wonder why? He didn't know the online booking site was down until I told him. At any rate, my normal two minute online booking transaction turned into a half hour phone transaction, but I did get our reservation in the end so I'm happy about that! I hope others have good luck getting what they want...time to put some Rum Chata in the coffee!
