Okay, it may not be an attraction in that there's no ride or movie, but tell the truth - do you ever get tired of seeing it? :teeth:

Who could get tired of it? To me it represents complete happiness... the real embodiment of all the joy of a trip to Disney.

When I was a kid, in 1972, Disney had just opened. My family took our first trip. We flew from NJ to Orlando and got in late at night. I remember we had a terrible little rental car -- a Pinto, I think -- and my Mom had packed about a million suitcases. We all started griping because we were crammed into this car, sitting on suitcases, and thought my Dad couldn't find the hotel because it seemed like we were driving a long time. All of a sudden he said "Look." He had driven us to where we could see the castle, in the distance, all lit up. I still remember how exciting it was to go to bed that night, knowing that the next morning, the Magic Kingdom was mine... I still feel that way when I see the castle.

Thanks for the beautiful photos.

Laura, I LOVE the castle....and tear up almost everytime I see it, even in picture form! I have a picture of the castle with Walt and Mickey as my screensaver at work, and people ask me all the time if I get bored with seeing it. They just don't get it, do they?!?! :teeth:

Thanks so much for sharing these, they brought a teary smile to my face!

Beautiful pics. I love the Castle and the murals inside. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Those are great castle pictures! Seeing them makes me want to go back to WDW real soon. Thanks for posting!

For years, people who went to the Magic Kingdom, told me it was just a castle with nothing inside.

Then I found these boards and found out their is a resturant on the second floor. When I told some of these people about the resturant, they didn't believe me.
