My Amazing Trip to the Club 33!!

Couldn't help myself...

That's funny Lori. Did I read that right? You already have your next trip planned in 8 months?

Great pictures from your day at Club 33. I really liked your balcony shots a lot.

thanks ..for taking us along. you made it sounded exciting &
in great taste. (me drooling - did they have :mickeybar ? )

all the little tributes you gave , i bet they rated you & your sis
as their "prefect guests."

i thought your first pic was an "attention getter"! :thumbsup2
..is that a star to matched the design on the plate? i like
the balcony with all the people traffic...but i could imagine myself
on the bench & waving @ the princesses below. ( of course ,
with my wife nearby, telling her~ "it's the disney thing to do.":rolleyes1)

did you discovery any secrets that you did'nt know before?
are there other doors marked 32 or 34? and my daughter would
like to know if tinker bell inside the tree lantern?

thanks again for sharing ~ & i am so glad that this "glass slipper"
left such a wonderful impression. a cherish memory, in~deeds!

* the reason i felt your story was extra special- sharing with your
sister. for you see, i am from a family of 10, mostly boys.
( fighting was a recreational activity). my mother had us as
pairs, but mine was my "sister", & we shared everything. as adults,
we both had 3 children, of course the same...2 boys & a girl.
and though years apart, both our "girls" had my mother red
hair...& when i boast "red"....i am speaking ariel's match. we
were just in disneyland, and as we left the sleeping beauty
castle-the walk through.....the ariel girl made it a point to "see"
my daughter & "talked hair". that encounter took me back to
the delivery room....when her doctor proclaimed her red
hair...& a lot of it! my wife hair has snow white color. to us,
she came like a dream~ for 10 years before we decided
"no more".

so i sorta know of, the feeling from the same song.

It might even be before that... I'm thinking maybe April? I want to go when the crowds are down some, as to enjoy Carsland more! It was pertty busy, could not see the details, like I would like! Of course we live 8 hours away by car... so not so tough to get there more often.

When is your next trip, west?

Thank You, Lil'Grumpy. You have a very good take on my feelings! You have a wonderful story of your own!
Now I'm Wishing Upon a Star, for a sick friend, to recover.. and all will be right with the world again.:)

Next Christmas is my goal as I would like to do something different next summer. Who knows though. Time is short and I always have the itch to get back.

Are you going to tell us more about the rest of your trip in this report?

Love the report btw!

Never been to Hawaii. Next summer if we do get away it will have to be somewhere we can drive to. We are trying to save as much as possible for my daughter's first year in College. Gulp! I don't feel this old. Age is just a number. Gulp. What happened to me? I kid. Seriously though it will have to be somewhere we can drive. I secretly would like to go to the East coast and see the Carolina's or something like that. Maybe a few days on the Atlantic Ocean and just take it easy. Who knows?

Excited to see what you come up with for the rest of your report. Your so lucky you live so close to DL!

Looking forward to reading more too. We are planning a trip to aulani in June with our DVC points. It's the airfare and long flights from FL that are going to be the killers.

Living in driving distance helps for sure! Since the ticket prices have gone up so much!
Do you go to Branson much? I know you like Country music...

We are in Hollywood which is 10 minutes south of fort lauderdale and 20 north of Miami and 3 1/2 hours from WDW. I have not been to the keys since I was a kid. We have been talking about taking a weekend getaway there but our calendar for the rest of the year is full. We are doing DL in oct, a girls weekend for the epcot food and wine 1/2 marathon with my mom and two sisters in nov and our annual wdw December trip with my in laws to get us into the holiday spirit.

My little sister talked me into doing the 1/2 marathon with her, I don't know what I was thinking. I hurt my back (have bulging disk at L4 pressing on my sciatic nerve giving me leg numbness and pain) exercising shortly after signing up. I have just started to train as my back is feeling much better I still have some bad days but they are not near the pain levels I was having. I have been able to maintain a non-stop 45min jog pace. In talking to my sister the other day I'm farther in my training than her and she has no issues, and she is younger and has no kids. Anyways sorry for the rambling on, back to the regularly scheduled trip report...

No we don't. I know many people like Branson but we don't. I do like some country music but not the ones that would be playing down there. I grew up with such a wide variety of music tastes. My Dad would play everything. I then had the dream job of working in a music store for most of my younger life and then ran several of them before the internet took that business away. I have seen so many great artists in concert.

How many hours away are you from DL?

Enjoyed your TR Lori and experience at club 33. I hope you have the opportunity for many more.

Jack

Thank You Jack!! So nice to see you!
It was very special, and my special friends made it possible!
