Now, have I ever told you about the twisted tale of a Spa session gone so wrong? Well, pull up a chair as have I got a rather strange tale to tell you -popcorn::

    (Goofy - my Fav)

So I just got out of a fairly nice Hotel get a way at our local Great Wolf Lodge here in the Dallas Ft Worth area; complete with two, count them TWO four hour massage treatments (listed on page two of my "American History" TR you see listed below in my Signature.....:woohoo:

But....... here is where it gets shall we say - just a wee bit mental. :crazy2:

On Tuesday of this week, my what you call her....a Spa Therapist, a Spa Technician, .... or whatever you call them....

Lets just say she attempted to go ...... cough cough....... "above and beyond" in providing me with excellent customer service.

ok..... THAT didn't sit too well with me as I have written "How Not to Service the Guest" in relation to Elements Spa.

    Oh good grief!!
I just noticed the extremely bad pun in the title of my Trip Advisor, Yelp, etc "review" on Elements Spa as well as Great Wolf Lodge.....:upsidedow

Wish me luck on this one ...... details forthcoming on what develops out of my complaint.

    And
with that, my mind was off and running.... trying to figure out where to go for vacation next year.....

I have been wanting to see Disneyland Paris -
(been my dream for last three years):goodvibes

but the Dollar isn't where it needs to be in relation to the Euro.....

And with that, I am back at the doorstep of Disney Cruise Lines -:jumping1:

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of Yours Truely -
    AKA ...... Kris:goodvibes

    I'm a
rabid fan of all things Disney who likes to hit the ground running when I head out on vacations and turn them into adventures.

    Anywho -
just got this TR up and running as I plan on doing the room side of this on the cheap -
Value resort on the land side of this 4day land / 4 day sea adventure

    and
inside cabin on the sea side of this

while focusing on just having fun being out and about a lot.

    i'M SORRY -
    what's that you say?

Can I give you an example??:confused3

ok - here's bit just one of many places and things I will be experiencing (on the land side) while on this adventure::goodvibes

Yes, yes, yes - its early on but I am beginning to get together other ideas as well so feel free to throw ideas at me as hey...... thats what its all about -

    having fun.

and with that, I am off back to my learning more about this Nation of ours via the "American" TR (listed in my signature) that officially begins in about 114 more days......

So, with that - let me have a sip or two from
    [IMG]

as I promise to be back here on this TR in a few weeks w/more updates and such.popcorn::

    Now bring me that Horizon.....

Made some much needed changes to my DCL adventure.....
Decided to move it just a weeeeeeee bit closer to All Hallows Eve -::yes::

All got started by me re-thinking what in the wolrd was I thinking in wanting to buy all new furniture when I have this Child Of Grace -
    [IMG]

But..... yes, I still plan on continuing to fix things, redecorate things and BEAGLE PROOF;) things on the interior of our Home til around October.....

then celebrate kicking off the celebration of this adventure by slowly assembling the Cindy Castle ya c above in an earlier posting......
    So yup -

Ive changed the date of this adventure to the middle of October....pluto:

    BUT.......
and I do mean kindly BUT.......

I may.... dont know yet - may switch things up again and bring back a bucket list thing that ive had to shelve to to the falling dollar against the Euro...:smickey:
MY ADVENTURES N DISNEYLAND PARIS, PARIS, MONTMARTE & OTHER ...

BUT - things could change in October (and I may push back this adventure a year) cuz:
    "
Bank of England governor Mark Carney said on Friday the chances of a no-deal Brexit were "uncomfortably high".

On Sunday, international trade secretary Liam Fox put the odds at "certainly not much more than 60-40".

The falls come despite a rise in UK interest rates, which usually pushes up the value of sterling.

Since the beginning of the month, the pound has fallen 1.7% against the dollar and 0.8% against the euro."

    and,
    "
Investors are focusing on a critical meeting in October between Prime Minister Theresa May and EU leaders to try to thrash out the terms of Britain's withdrawal.

Without a deal, some economists believe the UK and its trading partners would suffer an economic downturn."

So..... all the fun will begin and break and I should know more by mid October on which way I shall go. Either way, its still a win win as DISney will have me no matter what.
    GOT ALL THAT?
IN SHORT - we sit currently at one US Dollar equals .88 Euro.......

IF IT HITS ONE DOLLAR = .94 (OR HIGHER) EURO......

    I'M GOING TO PARIS!!party:

and break out the poster I have (bought off of Ebay), frame it and put it just above the living room fireplace:

And with that, gotta boogy on back to my current blog ya c below in my signature -popcorn::
Psssttttt!!!! Did I tell ya I caught the attention of Legoland/Ft Worth? They wanna know how Im doing assembling the Castle ya c picted in a previous posting......

    Follow alongpopcorn::
as yes, all will be on picture and video around late December on this TR as Im putting together at Tyco Ho scale rr - complete with Hot Wheels cars, Legos and other silly things.

    ** ITS OFFICIAL**popcorn::

:woohoo:-THE DISNEY CRUISE WINS OUT OVER ANY DISNEY PARIS ADVENTURE -:woohoo:

So - its me now officially n a DISney Cruise mode for the next gazzilion dazs but Id figure to break them up n2 segments between now and when this soiree begins- with the first one coming up in just a little over 800 more hours with Moi having fun sippin on a "few";)

ritas out in the backyard, watching Ladybugpaw: chase squirrels while she and I are chilling out over some jazz music in the background over the week of Halloween.....

    while assembling this -
    [IMG]

and yes - this will be my biggest challenge yet with Cinderella's castle coming up n December.....

Pics and video to follow I promise.:goodvibes

    ANYWHO -
just wrapped up my Mid Atlantic TR, looked at DISney and saw here is where I need to be so now Im slowly looking at Halloween costumes, decided AGAINST redecorating the interior of my home 100% .... meaning NO NEW FURNITURE because furniture as we all know is NOT BEAGLE PROOF:
(you are laughing WITH ME....aren't you):rotfl:

So I figure why not put the furniture money towards something where you get say.....
more of a return on your investment -;)

hence the idea of a DCL / WDW adventure was born as I will also be celebrating paying off my 5 year Honda Civic car note
    [IMG]

    3 years early as well.

and with that, give me a few weeks & I will pop back with updates on my Lego Saturn 5 rocket fun & other what nots.popcorn::

    Its getting silly and sillier.......:goodvibes

(Yes, Im adding this one to my game room collection as well).......

    For starters,
I survived TX vs OU week (we were sold out ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL week)......

.....now Jacksonville is coming n2 town -:crazy2:

    ANYWHO -
Then during all of this, I thought bubble popped up to the surface -
(silly way 2 decompress while im at work);)

Its about all these Legos and what nots I have been slowly accumulating all these months -

    where to display them, etc.:confused3

then out of no where, I thought , "WHY NOT?"

SO, yes I have decided to turn my dining room into a game room; filled with assorted HO scale model trains, Legos, Hot wheels and assorted games....

    like this one
    [IMG]

of course, cant ferget about this one as well -
    [IMG]

Gonna throw in there a dart board as well......
Way I look at it, a game room is a fun way to decompress from all the silliness of everyday living and have a few margaritas at the same time.

Yes, I have decided to start breaking open and "breaking ground" of ya will on my game room in 432 more hours......(ABOUT TIME!!)

    AKA
**THANK GOSH THATS WHEN I GO BACK ON VACATION ****

Pics and video I promise -
(will also b assembling the Legos Saturn 5 rocket as well during Halloween week)

    :thanks:
Listen to Star 102.1 Live - Dallas' More Music, More Variety | iHeartRadio

Got the cutest phone call from the nicest bunch of DJs this am -
They saw my FB pictures about the Legos and such and wanted to hear some good news from me.

Thinking quick here, I replied that, what do you get that "Special Someone" in your life who has 'everything'(for their birthday of for Christmas) and that person happens to be YOU??:confused3

Well, hence the reason for why I have been slowly buying things off of Ebay these past 14 months now going on 16 and vowed NOT to open them until my birthday (December 30).
One thing lead to another I\and I am realizing thet WOWZERS! I have A TON of boxes I need to open and put out on display......

Things I remember having as a kid -
With this simple act first starting out as a train set.....

one thing lead to another and I am now seeing "OOPS!" i need a bigger room to house these things -

hence the idea for a game room -
Reason - So I will always have place to go to as I am getting ready for work....
    can sit down......
put on my socks and shoes.......

    Look around the room -
    see all these things
    & Viola!:goodvibes

A SMILE always jumps n2 my heart and off I head to work flipping between 102.1 fm music or Caribbean music on my iphone.

and yes, I feel we can allllllll stand having that kind of a smile in our hearts no matter what kind of a relationship you are in.....

:thumbsup2**THIS IS WHAT I HOPE THE DJs picked up from me when we spoke this am*****:thumbsup2

I am also seeing a game room works wonders when its raining outside......

So to Jeremy the DJ, (and Leigh Ann)
hope you are getting a kick out of this blog as I plan on using you as inspiration to lose weight. feel free to FB me again if ya wish to see how my weight loss is doing and my game room, etc......

and to all of you, feel free to check on assembling of the game room as yes, the Saturn 5 rocket gets assembled next week -:scratchin
FYI - I tend to do ok but when I approach 2K plus piece Legos creation??:faint:
    BUT.....
It sure is fun creating things -

    T-MINUS 120 HOURS AND.......
Going to feel nice to relax, chill out and enjoy some much needed r&R -:woohoo:

    P.S.S.
I have been opening up two boxes at a time these past 3 weeks in preperation for next week and I tell ya, I dint know those Freedom Train model rr locomotives ARE HEAVY, the Pinewood derby cars are going to look nice out on display - same with the framed DISney share from the early 2000s. Folks, I have A LOT and yes, stayed tuned as I do plan on shooting a video or two of the game room, etc.

and to think, as I was buying the Pinewood derby cars (burgundy in color) up popped a visual in my head of those little pints of paint you use to paint the cars as well as the brush.....

I could also smell the paint visually -:goodvibes

    I KNOW - GO FIGURE...:scratchin

Remember, I had to have been about 8 years old when I last operated one of those Pinewood derby cars.....:smickey:

Had fun enjoying some much needed r&r and my quirky hobby these last few days went from .......

(Yes, I do drink a "few" margaritas while fiddling with Legos);)

    to -:cool1:

Sitting just a wee shy of 4 feet tall, I decided to display it in two different places -
    one
    [IMG]
and the other place here in my home-
    [IMG]
(Yes, I am always out to 'Beagle proof" everything I have in the home)

I was really amazed to see just how intricate the inside of the rocket was designed and had a total blast listening to Itunes rebroadcasts of the Apollo space missions -

am going to attempt to see if I can move it downstairs into my game room I'm creating -

    and speaking of game rooms.........:scratchin

    wait for it............
    wait for it......................popcorn::

"Groundbreaking" on it begins in two weeks (next time I'm on vacation) as I am finishing up breaking open the really big boxes from Ebay I've been buying these last 14 months.and well......and running out of room to store them in time for Christmas /my birthday....

FYI - for example..... I have four approx a 26 inch suitcase in size split in half boxes left in the living room left to open.... two I know what they are... the other two? hmmmm.....:confused3

Now one of the craziest challenges I've faced is learning how to set things to scale on my Lionel train set / Hot wheels cars/ Legos section of my game room.... ya know -
    like this:
(b on the lookout for many a DISney reference once completed):goodvibes

    So.....
    way I figure it.......

1)plans are to now start working on the display in two weeks -

    2) call DCL and move this adventure forward a bit via a payment or two.....

    3) Then...... about 4 weeks later, time to break this box open and work on putting together this -

Put this on in the living room is why I would like to see this on display -
    along with the monorail -

So hopefully in about 60 days of so 'ish" SOMEONE will get a DISmeets up and running on DISboards for this cruise.......::yes::

Overall tho, very proud of that Saturn 5 rocket:goodvibes - took a lot of patience and ...
    cough cough ....
    a lot of margaritas::yes::

as I feel what a 'funner' way of kicking off the festivities of this adventure than by slowly putting together Cindys Lego castle. and yes, in case you are wondering why all these videos about Legos......

well... - I use them as a quick reference guide should i get stuck at any time building.....
    Besides....
Legos also put me in the mood the DCL / WDW
(so does Mr Pirate Potato Head....GO FIGURE);)
(yes, already up in my game room.. I only wanted it for the bird but just fell in love with it since imo it invokes a DCL mood)

    Until next time -popcorn::

    ANYWHO -

gonna be calling DCL this week and taking this vacation forward a wee bit (getting things finalized via the billing etc) and well..... having fun tinkering and a fiddling around on me game room for a while -

(pretty neat place to check out here in the DFW area)

    ANYWHO -
Just found out that I have $900 sitting in my DISney credit card rewards section of my credit card.........:scratchin

Ok.... Now that just woke me up as I will be calling DCL Tuesday to make a very nice payment to get them all up to speed.

So just what is it I am getting at??

    Well....
in addition to making a payment, it also looks like "the game is a foot" here as the WDW/ DCL Commando Traveler in me is starting to come out -:woohoo:

So be on the lookout for me to begin to post an outline of ideas and a basic daily outline of just what kind of mischief I plan on getting myself n2 while on this adventure....:wizard:

    Until next time -

    followed by
    2) MNNSHP
    3) that Minnie Van transpo.....really tempted to use that as well::yes::
