My 9yr DS doesnt want to wear his DVC t-shirt!

There were 3 DVC t-shirts under our Christmas tree (DH, DS and myself). I just gave my DS his to put on and he said "Mom, I really dont want to wear this. It has you written all over it."
I thought he'd complain about the yellow and pink colors but he doesnt want to wear it because his mother is a Disney nut! Poor kid, everything he owns/wear is turning into Disney. LOL

I am lucky, mine is only 5 so he is really into all things Disney right along with me for now. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it continues for awhile.

Yep, 9 years old sounds about right! My son was about 10, I think, when he started not wanting to wear the Disney stuff. The last I bought him was at Disneyland Paris when he was about to turn 10. He wore that shirt and jacket, but no more after that. He's 16 now and smiles tolerantly at all my Disney clothing, etc. Funny, though, my 23 year old nephew who lives with us wears whatever I buy him from Disney. He always asks for a shirt, etc., when I go.

My kids have cought the Disney bug and so far still like Disney stuff.

We had BadShoe.com shirts made and the kids think think they are cool too.

hi:the kids always said i was nuts even into their teens. they do get back to liking disney eventually. the best "come-uppance" was when my older son got married. guess where my dil wanted to honeymoon? wdw for 12 days! so hah! if the guys don't want to go to wdw, we'll just have to do more "ladies only" trips.

My 6yo is even getting tired of wearing Disney! My teenagers? Forget it! If it doesn't have a Structure, American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch, or Aeropostle tag on it, it doesn't even get a glance. So I guess my $8.99 sweatshirts I bought them from the Disney store will only get worn by me. Oh well, thats okay, I don't mind! They do think I'm crazy.
