My 6yr old DD loves Lizzie McQuire - are you in the same boat?

My DD who is 6yrs old absolutly loves, loves, loves Lizzie McQuire. When we redecorated her room last year everything was done in Disney Princesses. She has a Cinderella Castle headboard, Princess bedspread w/ curtains to match, Princess boarder, lamp, and other accessories and she has a nice arrangement of Princess prints framed nicely on her walls.

She comes up to me the other day and says "I want a Lizzie McQuire room now." Oh....My......God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just finished her room and now she wants to redo it already. I naturally told her to "dream on" and ended it with that.

Anybody else have a DD that loves Lizzie McQuire? I really don't dislike her liking Lizzie, I think I am just feeling like she's really starting to grow up and that makes me sad . Where did the time go? I feel like she was just born yesterday.

My DD7 is the only one of all of her friends that can't stand Lizzie McQuire. I asked her why and she didn't know. She does love Raven. I think Raven is so funny too.

My little one is 6 years old, too. Same princess bedroom, same admiration for L McG. We bought her the Hillary Duff cd for Christmas and she about fainted from excitement.

My 7yo DD also loves Lizzie - She wants to wear her Lizzie outfits all the time. She also likes Kim Possible, Even Stevens, Sister, Sister, but Lizzie is the favorite.

DD just turned 9 and is a big fan. Has her albums, DVD's and we had to go to Limited Too to purchase a Lizzie shirt (cartoon version). She and her friends at school are working on some Lizzie book at school during their free time ! She wanted me to buy a $9.99 magazine about Hilary Duff at the grocery store this week. I informed her the Disney Adventure, American Girl and Nickelodean magazine she gets are plenty.
