Hi again.
Luckely my actual birthday was not on the day we got stuck in the airport, but on thursday, the day after we arrived. After we had our breakfast in the restaurant with a wonderful view over the park and castle, we, for the first time entered the park. Wow, it was chilly out but the shivers I got was not from the cold weather. It was just wonderful to be there, to look at the faces of the children. The walk down Main Streat gave memories from all those years ago in DL California (15 years). I will not give a detailed description of the day, just say that we had a great day. My youngest daughter (3y) just loved the Dumbo and Tea Cups rides. Her sister (3 month to 5y) could not get enough of Big Thunder Railroad, my wife an I alternated in taking her (here I was happy for the VIP Fastpasses). When I was in DLC I tried Star Tour and loved it, now I would try it again. But what would the girls say? I thought it might be a little too rough for them, but no, they loved it both. When we came to the ride we thought it was closed because there was no one in the line. We went in anyway. It was open, but there was not many people, which I found odd, as I think it is a great ride.
The day ended in one of the restaurants in the hotel where we got a great dinner. It had been a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.
